"They called and moved my day back a day. I didn't have a choice and it made things hard as we needed to cook for a large party we were having the next day. My daughter had spent the night so we could get the cooking done that day. Should have had her use my wood floor cleaner instead of hers. My laundry room didn't get cleaned at all. Had to pull out my vacuum cleaner and do a large rug that still had dog hair on it. Don't think her vacuum cleaner did a good job on my carpet. I had had foot surgery, so I needed help cleaning for the party. She forgot a mop at her previous house and had to go back to get it. I think she left a window scrapper here."

"Carlos and Marco did an excellent job installing 12” X 24” ceramic tile on my front porch. They removed the old tile and meticulously cleaned and prepared the concrete subsurface. They made sure that my wife and I were informed of each step of the project and showed up early and at the promised time. They cleaned up after each day and made sure to communicate with us each day. They did such a good job on the porch, I gave them another project to install back splash tile in a spare bathroom. I recommend Carfy Tile for any tile work you may have."

For a more comfortable, cushioned feel, especially in residential settings, you can opt for padded carpet tiles that have a thicker underlay attached. Not only is it one of the most affordable flooring products on the market, but it is also easy for most homeowners to install, as it only requires cutting, trimming, and gluing down to the existing floor surface. Some sheet vinyl manufacturers make a loose-lay sheet vinyl flooring that does not even need to be glued.

Carpet squares, tile stickers, painting or stenciling existing tile floors, and painting existing concrete flooring are also affordable options for DIY flooring.

Some root cellars are made with concrete, but a dirt floor may be better for your crops' longevity.
