"I got a few quotes for removal of a tree in my backyard and Jay’s was the best one. Jay was very kind and kept to his word on starting the project on the agreed upon day. I was quoted one day to remove an oak tree that had been there for well over 60 years. Jay and his team also trimmed a tree in my front yard. That being said, I have two dogs and a fence had to be taken down which is why the singular day to remove and clean up was important. Day one, they trimmed the limbs and said they needed to go to another job down the street and they’d be back the next day to finish. Four days later (rain impacted finishing the job on two days) I requested to at least have the fence up. All in all it took a week to go from start to finish. If time and fences were not of concern I would give the company five stars. They effectively removed the tree and ground the stump out."

Connie the office manager states the Enfield's will neither schedule nor provide advance notice of their services, to include spraying and removing trees. She says the crews just show up whenever is convenient for them, not necessarily the customer. Furthermore, she states it isn't customary for tree removal crews to use plywood or other protective measures to prevent damage to landscape when removing trees. What?? I say this is terrible PR and horrible customer service. I value a both my time and the appearance of my yard. Go elsewhere. Lots of other choices out there. ..."

Removing dead and diseased branches can help the tree recover and increase the odds of saving a dying tree. Make sure to prune the tree correctly to avoid damaging it further.

It may not be worth it to rake every leaf in your yard, but it’s necessary to remove the majority of leaves to prevent them from smothering grass growth on your lawn. However, raking leaves isn’t your only option for leaf removal. You can remove leaves easily with a leaf blower or compost or mulch them with your lawn mower to repurpose them to help grow your garden or yard.
