"AGW, Accelerated Green Works, did a fantastic job from the very first contact with me attempting to gather initial quote information. The excellence continued during the execution of all of the numerous tasks necessary to perform the final grade, install the fence, plan out the sprinkler system, and lay the sod. The spectacular work even continued while finishing the season to winterize the sprinkler system to prepare for snow and ice. Throughout every step of the way, the office personnel were superb with their organization of all of the details. The execution of the final grade and the installation of the fence, sprinkler system, and sod were flawless. They had one installation lined up right after the other installation with various groups of good-working people. I appreciated their work even further when I saw several lawns in the neighborhood go from bad to worse before being redone and then redone again! Our grass was a beautiful green throughout the season. We have a dog, so the fence was perfectly installed low to the grass to ensure his safety. The garden zone for the sprinkler system was a nice add-on for our garden, helping us grow lots of cucumbers, pumpkins, etc. It's also great to be able to control my sprinklers from my phone. The organizational skills of the office personnel, the hard work from the people doing the final grade, sprinkler system, sod, & fence, and the personal approach from the owners, even while they had their baby son born this summer(!), were all spectacular. "You will not go wrong by hiring this business to help you! Amazing Handyman Services is the perfect name for this business. The work ethic is old school, (hard working & honest) which is very hard to find in today's world. I highly recommend Amazing Handyman Services!!"
"The work was done efficiently and quickly. Expected the appointment for the next day but was able to come earlier which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the service and would use again if needed."
There are many pros and cons to vinyl and composite fencing. Both fencing types offer longer lifespans than wood fencing, with some notable advantages. Whether one is better for you will depend on a few factors. Composite is better if you prefer recycled materials, while vinyl is extremely easy to clean.
Also, consider the disadvantages: vinyl can be more expensive, while composite fencing fades during the first six months.
You can use a few different tactics to prevent your deck gate from sagging. Aside from using strong, rot-resistant woods, introducing a diagonal element—such as a tension rod or solid piece of wood to act as a brace—across the gate will offer better support. You can also use rigid joists to prevent the gate from sagging.
In most cases, trees need to be protected from deer all year round. This is especially true if you want to protect small trees from deer or if you just planted some fresh, new trees. Once a tree is a few years old, you likely do not have to worry about protecting it from deer as it will be stronger and can handle a little damage.
While picking a standard chain-link fence might be your first instinct, that metal can easily rust over time, making your space look not-so-great. Black chain-link fences are a simple and affordable way to fence in an area of your yard and are also less prone to showing rust than traditional galvanized steel chain-link fences. Plus, black chain-link fencing is a more unique option that can look very striking and elegant when installed properly.
Removing fence posts that are set in concrete is something you can't do by hand. You will need an excavator, a strong post-puller, or a jackhammer. If you plan on recycling the concrete base, you may be able to cut the post out with a jackhammer and then set the new post in the existing base. However, it's usually better to remove both the fence post and concrete together. Due to the weight of concrete, you will need a hydraulic removal tool.
