"They did great. The entire surface was level and free from tripping hazards. It is important to have them seal the cracks because there will be water from snow melt and the concrete will move. This will get you the 5 yr warrantee just in case."

"Although we wanted an estimate on repair, the owner was able to provide a simple suggestion on how we could fix our window. If the suggestion doesn't work, we will certainly call again for follow-up and repair. The owner was very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable."

Small jobs welcome

"Once some communication issues were worked out, they were on time. Did more then expected (which was greatly appreciated), and VERY reasonable. We added replace vinyl floor and replace sink vanity top to list as well as drywall & paint. So they started drywall, pulled vanity, toilet, base boards, laid vinyl, replaced vanity top, added shutoffs for sink with repairs to drain at wall (extra work), sanded drywall repairs, painted (even area not needed just to make it all look finished) , replaced toilet (new wax ring), vanity, finish touches, clean up and removal of all waste, all in 1 day."

Concrete Repair questions, answered by experts

It depends on the severity of the damage, lasting from a few days to several weeks.

You can strengthen a weak foundation using a few different foundation repair methods, including underpinning, slab jacking, foam jacking, installing carbon fiber support strips, or using a sealant or epoxy crack injection. It’s worth noting that the best way to strengthen your foundation permanently is to fix the underlying issue first and then use a permanent solution to reinforce it. If you’re unsure who to call for foundation repairs, a foundation repair contractor or structural engineer can help find the best solution for your home.

Yes, all basement floors crack in response to the natural settlement of the soil around them and from concrete shrinkage as it cures, and you’ll see hairline cracks as a result. However, you should keep an eye on your basement floor to see if cracks continue to lengthen or widen or show signs of water intrusion. In any of these cases, the problem is likely not settling or shrinkage, and a professional repair is necessary.

The most expensive foundation repair method is to install helical piers. Helical piers are a type of steel pier used to support sinking foundations in areas with poor soil conditions or deep bedrock. This foundation repair method can cost up to $3,000 per pier, including labor, because of its material and labor-intensive installation process. Total foundation repair costs can easily reach over $20,000 using this method.
