"I had my foundation and basement waterproofed from the inside by Groundworx. The first bit wasn’t good bc I got my appt cancelled and then the next appt no one showed up. So, by appt #3 I got Carlton. He was great. Super helpful, knowledgeable, etc. I purchased the services bc we really needed it asap as I had major mold growing in my basement from the previous owners negligence. I do feel like the price was too high but that’s a Groundworx issue. NOT a Carlton issue. I understand the rep doesn’t control the cost of services. For two days and waterproofing it was around 13-14k. It was extensive work but I did the demolition and removal myself to save $$. The work started and we had Von, Tim, Will and another gentleman. The guys were great. Beyond awesome. They explained so much and helped me with my silly questions. We really enjoyed them and they made the job site so clean it was like they were never there (except for my new pump and my ripped out basement haha 😂) they clearly know"

I thought they did a real good job. It does not smell or anything. If it was tall enough it looks like a room you could be in to live in, but it is our crawl space. They are really good. We get an annual checkup and their services are kind of expensive, but my husband checks every time it rains and now the water does not sit underneath the house or mess up our foundation. We got a military discount and they check the humidifier to make sure it is doing what it is supposed to do for about $99.

"I feel so fortunate to have made contact with Daniel Loving of "That Guy" on Angie's List. He is very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job pressure washing and staining my deck. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and his work ethic. He called to confirm each appointment and let me know exactly when he would arrive. When deciding on a day to stain my deck he had looked ahead at the weather forecast to offer options when it likely wouldn't rain. He even noticed other issues with my house and offered to help me with them. On the day he arrived to stain the deck, I embarrassingly realized I had totally forgotten to buy stain. Daniel took it all in stride and drove to Home Depot (not a quick trip) and bought stain and still finished the job that day. The deal I bought on Angie's list was for one coat of stain, but he provided a second coat for a very reasonable price. "Marty with Affordable Concrete did a fantastic job with our driveway.  We initially called him in desperation because our existing concrete driveway had just been jack-hammered to bits by another contractor.  We were advised by the old contractor that he could just pour right over the broken pieces and we would have a new driveway.  That just did not sit right with us, so we called a local concrete company and they sent their inspector over to check out our situation.  He immediately advised that pouring fresh concrete over the broken pieces was a very bad idea.  The inspector also advised us to have all the broken concrete removed and start fresh with a new driveway.    This was going to be EXPENSIVE! 
We checked with Angie?s list and saw Affordable Concrete?s ad, read the reviews and then called him.   We did not have a lot of money to spend, but knew it had to be done.  We could not use the driveway, it looked like a bomb went off.  Marty listened to our dilemma and came over that very night.    He saw that we had a big mess.  He told us not to worry, he could have the broken concrete removed in a day, and then could pour fresh concrete the next day.   He gave us a price and we had an agreement.  The following week he began the cleanup process and  he did exactly what he said he would do.  The price was fair, and we now have a beautiful driveway that diverts the rainwater away from the house.    Everyone in our neighborhood has commented on how nice the driveway looks. 
Thank you Marty for coming to our rescue and doing such a good job.  Marty is very busy, but he was kind enough to fit us into his schedule because of our situation.  We will definitely use Marty for all future concrete jobs, as well as refer him to our friends.
