"Anthony was so helpful. He was quick, efficient, and helpful. They came out same day and problem fixed in 20 minutes. The “handymen” that came out the day before said our whole toilet would need to be replaced and charged us double the money and didn’t fix anything. Anthony walked us through what the problem was and fixed it quickly. We’re very impressed and happy with Toilets N Such. Thanks Anthony!!"

"Tim was a life saver. My 84 year old mom phoned stating flushing her toilet was backing up into the shower. I phoned five plumbers on a Friday afternoon stating they couldnâ t get to us until the next week. When I found Tim he was caring and promised to get to mom within two hours of the call. He went out and resolved the problem. He is Now our professional plumber. I will be referring him. Total Pro!!"

Small jobs welcome

"Very professional work staff, toilet works perfect now. I am very happy the parts they installed were twice and good as the manufacturers parts that came with the toilet. I will NEVER buy another Sturhling appliance they are cheaply made and dont hold up. Ifi t had not been for these quys, we would have had to buy another toilet, which was what the manufacturer wanted."

"We had excellent service by Russell Ragan, P-1 licensed plumber, to inspect all our plumbing and to flush out our water heater. We signed up for the monthly plumbing service plan,. So this visit cost less than $10. Great communications throughout. Our #1 choice for heating, air conditioning and plumbing in the Triangle."

"We discovered a leak in our toilet as we were leaving town. We made arrangements for Streamline to come while our dog sitter was here. We had to discuss everything by phone. We ended up needing more than we originally thought, so the bill was $575 which was more than we thought it would be by a factor of 5. Our dogsitter was very impressed with their workmanship and professionalism and over the phone, they did a good job describing my options for repair."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

The best way to stop your toilet bowl from sweating is to increase ventilation and get rid of the humidity in your bathroom. You can do this in a number of ways. Sometimes, cracking a window or running your exhaust fan is enough. You can also run an air conditioner or install a dehumidifier

Most toilets weigh between 50 and 100 pounds, depending on the material, size, and style. Some toilets can be disassembled into multiple pieces, which can make them easier to carry and dispose of. If you’re concerned that a toilet is too heavy to remove and lift on your own, enlist help or use a dolly to support the weight rather than carrying it yourself.

While any bathroom remodel has a positive return on investment, an en suite bathroom can significantly increase a home’s resale value. It makes a property more enticing to buyers with families, particularly those with young children. However, keep in mind that at least one of the bathrooms should have a tub.

The normal water level in a toilet bowl is about halfway full. The water should sit above the P trap drain because this creates a seal and suction. When you flush the toilet, the suction keeps sewer gases from entering your house through your toilet. Anytime the water level is higher or lower than half full, you need to make adjustments or replace broken parts.

Yes, you should screw your flange to the subfloor, including cement. The best way to get this done is to predrill holes into the concrete using a hammer drill and a ¼-inch concrete bit. Be careful when you’re ready to bolt your flange down, as you can accidentally crack it. You can avoid this issue by not installing the screws too deep. Or, you can opt for a flange with a stainless steel ring so you don’t have to worry about cracking the plastic.
