"When I posted my repair job on Angi, I received a response right away from Pivot Anesthetics. Jason rearranged his schedule to meet my schedule and came out the same day to assess my job. I hired Jason right away because of this mannerism and professionalism. We set up a date for the repairs,Jason was right on time. I also ask Jason if he could also repair & re-grout my front patio he did'nt hesitate to take on that job too. Jason's work ethics were great. He got all repairs done in one day! Joint compound, also known as drywall mud, consists of limestone and gypsum and is primarily used for large-scale projects like taping and finishing seams on new drywall. Spackle is composed of gypsum and binding agents, making it a thicker compound best suited for small wall repairs like filling nail holes or cracks, as it dries quickly and is easy to sand. For small repairs, either product can be suitable. However, you can use joint compound for small jobs in place of spackle, but you cannot use spackle for large-scale taping and mudding projects.
