"We have a HUGE backyard fence that needed staining. They were very professional, prompt, and got the job done quick. There was a small portion of our fence that got missed (a section on the top of cross board), and when I told them about it, they came right out to fix it, no questions asked. We were very happy with their service!"

Customers say: True professional

"Carrie did not an exceptional job building four different decks for me on three different homes. He also fixed Decks that other contractors had poorly constructed at a very reasonable price. Stay away from this guy I need him to do other stuff for me. ? better yet I should give him a really negative review so nobody wants to work with him so he will work with me exclusively."

"From the time Robin Garcia came to the house and measured our space to the time that Samuel and Jose installed the system, everything was done in an professional and efficient manner. They were punctual and very careful not do any damage to the floors and clean up after the work. The closet is beautiful and we are so happy that we had Closet by Design do the work for us. Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on furniture type, size, complexity, and whether additional modifications are needed.

The cost to convert a carport into a garage averages about $22,000, ranging from about $15,000 and $55,000. Additional cost factors to consider include size, time of year, and how much of the carport you can reuse. Other cost factors include the kinds and amounts of materials used, such as:

  • Add insulation: $1 per square foot

  • Add drywall: $1–$3 per square foot

  • Add window: $450–$2,000 per window

  • Add outlets: $75–$500

  • Add garage door: $250–$11,200

  • Enclose framing: $5–$13 per square foot

  • Replace roofing: $1,000–$2,000

Homeowners can increase the usefulness of their garage space in other ways, and one option is to extend the length of the garage by making it deeper. The process is similar to traditional garage extensions, but the end product is a garage with a different layout rather than additional parking spaces.

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

Begin by analyzing the blueprints and gathering the proper materials before framing a house. With the prep stages behind you, begin by framing the floor of a house on the newly set foundation. Exterior and interior walls come next, along with rough openings for doors and windows. Contractors will then add ceiling and roof rafters to finish things off.
