Went good for a about 4 days he was paid in full and had a crew there. But when the bill was paid in full he only had about one day and a half left for his crew . 2 people showed up next day didn’t do much, and never came back. He was supposed to send information so I could send out 1099 . Wouldn’t and wouldn’t finish the job. So I am talking to the city about him doing work without a license and beating the city and state on taxes.. he is a crook... he was to finish all demo. Put in load bearing beam after the took out the load bearing wall . Was not installed properly. Left screws hanging out of the beam.. left the trash out back. Left most old duck work still in. Had to have someone else remove it and finish his work.

My kindergarteners could have done a better job! Mr. Williams came out to my home to go over the scope of work needed. A contract was written up and a down payment was given. Once work finally started I could tell he was trying to cut corners. Tried telling me that the sides of my vinyl windows were supposed to be painted the house color. He was constantly asking for more $ bc he said he didn’t have $ to buy materials up front. The carpentry work he said he could do... he couldn’t... so we ended up hiring someone else to finish it. Once the front side of the house was sprayed he wanted the other 1/3 draw bc he said technically he sprayed the front twice so that equaled one coat on the whole house. Per the contract said one coat around the entire home. The next day Mr. Williams and his wife showed up while I was at work. Mr. Williams went around my house spraying everything w/ the green house color paint! All over my brand new $4000 gutters and soffits, my vinyl windows, brick on my home, all over my deck. He taped nothing off. He just slapped some paint on everything so he could get more money. At that time when I saw what he had done I cooled off a few days and then contacted Mr. Williams and told him I didn’t want him to finish the job bc he did a very unprofessional job and now it was going to cost me even more to have it finished and cleaned up. We are in the process of settling in court. I would run the other way! Find someone else to do your work if you want it done right.

Mr. Williams was very nice throughout our business relationship. Our problems began as they began the job. They came to work at 09:15 AM, took a 15-20 minute break at about 11:00 AM, took 30 minutes or so for lunch at about 12:30 PM, and left at about 3:00 PM -4:00PM. As the work progressed we became aware of some issues that caused us to decide that Mr. Williams and or his Wife was not trustworthy and we ended our business relationship.

We called and requested and estimate.  Within a week, Eric came out and did a free estimate.  They called to confirm the day before.  They were on time, actually a little early, and worked all day. They were very thorough and had us look at everything before they left to make sure we were pleased.  They insisted on cleaning up any work areas.  They replaced all the furniture and anything they had to move off of shelves exactly as it was.  This was one of the most professional group of people my husband and I have ever had work on our home.  Highly recommended!!!!

BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR. Eric Williams of Williams Painting was hired to spray paint a floating dock that was constructed with very expensive pvc column & decking materials. Eric reviewed the job several times over the course of several months as this dock was being constructed; both at the dock builders original job site as well as at our home once the dock was delivered, including just before he began the job. The expectations of the job were explained to Eric at every meeting/discussion that took place and each time Eric stated with confidence that he was capable of providing exactly the type of finish we were looking for, an evenly spray painted, smooth, professional finish and that he'd had experience spraying pvc. After accepting the job, Eric asked for and received 1/2 monies down (his contract requests 1/3). After a couple days, Eric asked for additional money so he could pay his men to work through the weekend because he said he was having trouble getting paid from his previous job/client. We reluctantly agreed, because we wanted the job completed before any bad weather set in, and he assured us they would work straight through until the job was complete.
The job started a day later than promised and then only one man was put on the job for the first half of the first day. Day two we weren?t home to observe the day's work trusting that Eric had it under control. On day three Eric said he would be on the job between 6:30am-7am, instead he showed up at 9am with only one employee despite the fact that Eric had requested and received an additional $400 on day two to pay his employees to work through the weekend. On day four, after Eric had primed the columns and arches, he began complaining about the scope of work required to get the job done. He began to verbally disparage the work of the contractor who constructed the dock with said contractor and his men present. He went as far as arguing with who he assumed was the contractor, but was in fact the local City Engineer, that his work was substandard; (Eric, our dock builder and the city engineer were all present at our house on that day). Eric's complaint was that the dock wasn't built correctly, regardless of the fact that he had reviewed the scope of this work several times and had even stated what a great job the dock builder had done hand constructing the dock and prepping the pvc. His complaints led my dock contractor who has 30+ years experience building docks on this lake, who also happens to have an impeccable reputation as a dock builder, to stop what he was working on and spend several more hours with two of his men to work on additional paint prep work in an effort to pacify Eric Williams. Eric was clear that the dock builder was going to try his best to prepare the dock but that like any contractor whose business is rough carpentry there would still be prep work needed ... like any paint job. So, again, even though Williams reviewed the scope of work several times before accepting the job; received additional help from another contractor after complaining; Eric was still unhappy.

Eric saw what a mess he had created and the greater expense he caused us due to his lack of spray painting ability and the fact that directly due to his incompetence and disregard for making sure everything was taped off & covered to protect the rest of the dock from overspray. Eric walked off the job leaving us in a much worse position than when he started. Walking off the job was Eric?s easy way out. He has damaged very expensive materials on many different areas of the dock due to his carelessness as well as several areas where there are clumps of spackle not sanded just stuck on columns, the look of "orange peel" from his unprofessional spray paint job on almost every column, as well as several areas where he left runs in the paint (see pics). Our entire dock requires re-sanding and repainting to smooth this finish out. Many of the Azek pvc deck boards, the new dock floats, and new boat lift still have overspray visible on them. We paid a man who spent two entire days applying a hot water pressure wash and scrubbing on his hands and knees trying to remove the overspray that Eric left all over the decking. These repairs will cost several thousand to have fixed.  BEWARE, this contractor has never provided a copy of his insurance, yet he has self-reported to Angie?s List that he is insured?
The day Eric walked off the job, Eric stated that he had videotaped the day?s previous conversation, (the conversation where he aggressively argued with the engineer) with the sunglasses that he wore that day without anyone knowing he was doing so. I'm still not sure what the point of that was but it just highlights how Eric
was both very unprofessional and confrontational.
While much more can be written detailing this terrible experience I'll just summarize by saying that, Eric Williams reviewed and accepted this job and asked for and received more than half the agreed upon monies upfront. He then after several days on the job became very confrontational with us as well as the dock
builder, his men and the engineer. He is very unprofessional, his work substandard and lastly, he walked off the job leaving a terrible mess as described above.  BUYER BEWARE!

I was impressed with Eric's promptness and communication. Even though we are located about 25 miles from his home base, he came out multiple times - to give us an estimate and check on his crew's progress. He called to let us know when his guys could and couldn't be there, weather got in the way a bit.  They showed up every time when they were expected, and on time, too.
Price was great, pressure washing was much less expensive than a Hickory company we had used a few years ago, and Eric's guys did a better job.
I had confidence that I could tell Eric if there were any issues or concerns, and he would make it right. We will definitely use him at our next home!

Eric was great. However, the deck did not turn out the way we anticipated due to stain residue that was not removed when pressure washing. Eric was kind and tried to make it right in many ways. The gentlemen who did the staining did a great job, but due to the inadequate prep, the deck just didn't look like it had a fresh coat of stain. Eric worked with us and provided a partial refund. He is a stand up business owner who wants to please his customers. Even though our deck didn't turn out the way I wanted, we would use them again because of his commitment to working with us to make the situation right.

They arrived a few minutes early, which was nice. They got right to work covering everything. They were professional and polite. They asked several times if I would check what they were doing to make sure I was satisfied with their job. I am very pleased and will call them again when the need be!

Eric's crew applied a detergent solution and then powerwashed the house getting all the grime off.  The special treatment they used on the concrete walk, drive and patio areas cleaned them evenly. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results and will call on Eric for future needs.

Arrived in timely manner.  It took 1 1/2 days to remove wallpaper.  They cleaned up all removed materials and patched/sanded walls where damaged.  They painted all walls on the 2nd day using one coat of same brand and color of paint.  All floors and fixtures were protected from paint spills and where necessary cleaned of any dropped paint. They removed all wallpaper and painting materials and wiped up dust from floors.  The finished product looks great.  The ceiling paint lines are straight and no paint on molding.  All walls from removed wallpaper are clean and smooth.  Stayed until 8pm on 2nd day to complete job.

Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly when they were here or how much I paid for the service.  Had to put something in but it was sometime last year.
Very professional.  I was not only impressed with the job they did in getting the very stuck wallpaper off the wall but getting it smooth and ready for painting which I did myself.  Now I wish I had let them do the painting as well as I'm sure it would have looked better than my job!  That's what I get for trying to save money.  Not only did they do a great job, they cleaned up after themselves and everything looked great when they were done.  Would use again in a heartbeat!

I called Eric with Williams Painting and Pressure Washing to come give me an estimate on putting epoxy paint with flakes down on my garage floor. Eric was extremely professional, helpful, and detailed about what exactly needed to be done and the amount of time it would take to complete. His price was definitely lower than anyone else and he was also very knowledgeable. Once a date and time was planned, he and his guys showed up on time and worked very hard. Everyone on his team was very polite and respectful of my home. They are the most trustworthy crew I have ever used. They did a fantastic job on my floor. It turned out great! I understand why he and his crew earned the super service award! I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
