"We contacted CYM Gutters and they were wonderful coordinating with me and my roofer who was redoing all of our shingles. They arranged to come out a few days after our new roof was in place and did a quick job of replacing and upgrading our gutters. Their pricing was very competitive, and I found them to be knowledgeable. I love working with small businesses as the owners are investing in making sure you are happy. They provided guidance and recommendations as to where we could make improvements to avoid issues we had dealt with for years. We got larger down spouts installed and have not had issues since. Very happy with the entire process and enjoyed working with Pedro and his team."

Architects questions, answered by experts

Villa exterior features often include large windows, arched doorways, patios, terraces, greenery, and gardens. Common exterior colors for villas are whites and off-whites, soft browns, and clay tones.

Whether you’re building a new home or building an extension on your existing property, you will likely need both a structural engineer and an architect. A structural engineer will determine what loads your foundation and framing can safely handle, and an architect will draw plans according to those structural calculations to simplify the building process. You can start by contacting a structural engineer near you, as many work alongside architects and can get all of the prep work done at once.

New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.

When planning a new build, meet with an architect as your first step. Architects will often work with specific contractors and can ensure the contractor on your project is qualified and experienced to handle your build. Both the architect and the contractor should be involved with the project from the early stages, but the process may be smoother when you start with an architect.

You should have an architect involved in your project from the very beginning. They’ll be able to direct your vision into workable plans, and they can advise you on potential problems right from the start. You may be able to save money by not using an architect, but larger projects will go much more smoothly with an experienced pro directing the process.
