"The Sanford's were outstanding to work with. They did an awesome job in adding life to my deck. One week after installation, my home and area were hit with a huge rain storm causing flooding that uprooted one of the trees they had planted. I contacted them asking for advise on how best to correct the issue. They insisted on coming out themselves and fixing the problem - at no cost to me. WOW!!!!! You don't find that kind of service everyday. I highly recommend them and will use them again. Thanks Team Sanford!!!"

"Cecil, the owner, was fantastic. He fully described what would be done and provided me an estimate on the spot, which was extremely reasonable. My driveway was a disaster before hand. They repaired the holes, fixed the edges and double sealed the entire driveway. It looks great and is expected to make the driveway last another 5-10 years. Other companies I had come out to estimate the job wanted to do a complete tear out and re-pave it at a significant cost."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

If you wish to break up a cracked or broken paver for removal, you can use a hammer or mallet and a chisel to fragment the paver. As you’re working, be careful not to disturb surrounding pavers; the key is to work slowly and steadily and remove the broken pieces gently. You should also wear a mask and goggles to ensure that no dust gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth as you work.

Quality pavers and correct installation handle temperature variations. Proper maintenance is crucial in severe climates to prevent issues like heaving.

Like brick, paver, and cobblestone driveways, resin driveways can have intricate patterns using different colors. Aggregates can be laid to create curves, shapes, letters, or numbers. When using custom colors or patterns, homeowners can expect to add an extra $2 to $6 per square foot to achieve their desired look.

While some areas may allow for a slope of up to 20%, this is often the maximum slope for driveways, with a few exceptions of up to 25%. Other regions may have a maximum of 12%, 15%, or 18%, so check with your local building department to ensure you’re laying a driveway that is up to code for your location.

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.
