"We are pleased with our bath remodel that included a new tub, tub surround and wainscot walls. There was one small problem with the walls due to the ceiling and walls not being plumb however they did go above and beyond by doing more than was was agreed upon by making plumbing improvements, installing a new lighted medicine cabinet and repairing a light fixture. They were very courteous and the installer even made a suggestion for a change that we agreed would be better."

"My walk in tub manufacturer is not satisfactory especially for the amount of $$ for the unit. There was a problemduriing the install and it has been recurring. The main cause of bathroom leaks is seals and connectors that loosen or deteriorate over time, causing leaks to develop. It's important to stay on top of your bathroom materials, as toilets, showers, and sinks all have different lifespans. Toilets and faucets last between 10 and 15 years on average with regular maintenance, but different parts may have shorter lifespans than others.

PEX pipes can freeze. While they are less likely to burst than rigid pipes like copper or galvanized steel, it is still possible. PEX is flexible and can expand as water freezes and contract as it thaws. However, this expansion can cause leaks around the pipe's connections. Furthermore, frequent freezing and thawing cycles can stress and weaken the material over time, increasing the risk of a future burst. Therefore, even though PEX is freeze-resistant, it is not freeze-proof, and standard insulation precautions are still recommended to prevent freezing.

Most gas stoves either have a shutoff valve inside the oven drawer compartment or behind the stove wall. Cooktop shutoff valves are usually inside the base cabinet, and wall ovens usually have a shutoff valve in the cabinet below or next to the unit. Construction regulations require installing a shutoff valve within six feet of the appliance. So, if you can’t find the valve on the appliance, look around the connecting gas pipes within the six-foot radius.

Normal wear and tear eventually runs these parts down and causes the faucet to drip when you've already shut off your sink. Replacing the cartridge or washer should fix the problem.

Before the widespread use of PVC, affixing a ground wire to plumbing pipes was generally considered to be an acceptable workaround. Nowadays, not so much. There are plenty of nonmetallic water pipes and fittings out there, so any ground previously provided by the metallic piping would be interrupted in these cases, which is dangerous.
