"My heating system stopped working. Blue Collar was able to make come to my house within the a couple of hours. He diagnosed that my unit needed to be replaced. Within 2 days, he installed a new unit. The price was reasonable, and the work was performed professionally. I would highly recommend Blue Collar."

"Alberto did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing. He found the problems and focused in on bringing this 13 year old system back to cooling. Both he and I don't think the system is long for this world but it should be long enough to buy us time to select a good replacement. Thanks again for your quick dispatch and very capable employee. We will be calling you again but hopefully not too soon."

"Jose was a professional and did a good job with the installation. The only thing that was bothersome was the he tried to get us to pay for work that he did not actually complete. He quoted us to be able to vent out our microwave but it turns out he could not complete the work due to where the microwave was placed, but he still wanted us to pay him for the full quote when all he did was actually install. That was a bit disappointing, otherwise he was fine."

"Excellent service and work. Very smooth experience. Kevin responded quickly with quote and setting expectations for timing of delivery and installation process. Our shutters were ready before we were as we were in the process of painting and remodeling. They patiently waited until we were ready for installation. Installation took about an hour and they look beautiful! Ended up ordering more for other rooms and I can’t wait for them to be ready! Highly recommend JTC."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

A single bed bug bites multiple times throughout one night until full, but then takes a break for a week or so to digest. However, the more bugs present, the more likely you get bit every night. Tracking how often you get bit is a good way to approximate the size of the infestation.

While you may be hearing squirrels running around your attic at night, these animals are usually more active during the day. If you hear scratching sounds in your attic at night, it’s mostly likely a mouse, raccoon, or bat. Investigate your roof, attic, and other entrances to your home to find signs that indicate the presence of squirrels or other pests.

Other than blasting aphids away with your hose set to jet, insecticides offer the quickest way to kill aphids on contact. Protect other insects and critters by choosing a natural insecticide for your garden, which can be as effective as a synthetic one.

Yes, sleeping in your house after receiving a pest control application should be no issue, but the best course of action is to wait for the treatment to dry completely. The drying process takes a few hours. Some treatments, such as fumigation, may require a longer drying time, so be sure to ask the technician what drying time you can expect.

Several skin conditions and insect bites can be mistaken for a tick bite, including mosquito bites, spider bites, chigger bites, and even allergic reactions. Tick bites often start as small red bumps, which may develop into a bullseye-shaped rash if Lyme disease is transmitted. However, similar-looking rashes can result from conditions like eczema, ringworm, or hives. Without a visible tick, it can be hard to confirm the source, so it’s best to monitor the area for changes and consult a doctor if symptoms like fever, fatigue, or worsening redness occur.
