"Very professional and courteous crew. Having a certified arborist definitely a plus. I needed to trim some trees and have one I knew was damaged removed. Geoff noticed a tree that looked perfectly fine to me, and recommended it be cut down. While I was hesitant at first, I agreed to remove it. As the tree was being cut, the damage to the inside of the tree was evident. With an active hurricane season expected, so glad I listened to him. The crew was amazing, taking every precaution not to damage the yard or the roof, as the trees removed were extremely close to the house. All branches were shredded, logs removed and the yard was raked. Would highly recommend."

Small jobs welcome

"AJ HB took down 5 crepe Myrtle trees that were too near the house and sick with fungus. They ground the stumps, cut back some pampas grass and hauled away all the debris. Then I asked him to do our pine straw. He’s a hard worker, showed up when he said he would and gave us a fair price. Communication between us was very good and he’s super polite and aims to please the customer. Would definitely hire again."

"Our plan for tree work accelerated when a large dead oak tree began shedding branches during a recent wind storm. I was pleased to get the work scheduled quickly and at a price that allowed us to take care of addition projects including stump grinding and brush pile removal. Todd and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. We were concerned because the oak was only a few feet from the house. But, the man on the lift with the chainsaw removed branches with surgical precision and dropped them safely. The stump grinding was a major project on our heavily wooded lot. The crew showed great care in approaching each one to avoid damage to surrounding trees. Finally the site was raked clean. I will definitely hire Tree-Gone-Ometry for future work."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Many species, especially when well-established, are not fans of transplantation. You’ll need to decide if you want to risk splashing the cash, understanding that transplantation isn’t always successful. Again, this is where hiring a pro is helpful, as they can give you all the essential info you need to ensure your tree stands a fighting chance.

If you ever want to see the literal fruits of your labor, you’ll need to prune your peach trees. Without pruning, the trees may not grow or bear fruit since the nutrients will be divided among too many offshoots to provide any with enough energy to produce the peaches. Plus, if parts of the peach tree become diseased or pest-ridden, pruning can nip those problems in the bud.

Leaving a dead tree can expose your other trees to potential diseases, pests, and fungi, and it can also be a hazard. Cutting down trees is extremely dangerous, and a professional can ensure no one gets hurt and there is no damage to your property. Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 and will prevent future issues and keep you and your property safe.

Cutting down a dead tree is always strongly advisable. Aside from being an eyesore, a dead tree can be extremely hazardous, especially when it’s near people or structures.
