What set his group apart from other moving companies, was that his immediate family is involved, and that he owns the storage area, and is near it in case I need to get something out--he can do this. They do all of the packing (if you choose this option) and they are really detail oriented. His wife was packing my kitchen and I thought I had moved out everything that needed to and quot;go with meand quot; and had left something in a drawer that obviously went with the house (a binder of stove/dishwasher manuals, etc) and instead of just blindly packing it, she left it for the new owners. This level of attention to detail is rare, in my opinion. I have heard of some movers packing bags of trash, etc. just whatever they see. This outfit knows what they are doing, and they are dedicated to your belongings. I have packed myself every time that I have moved, but since this time, my items are going to be stored for a year, and it was shorter notice, the amount of money it took to hire this part out was worth not running to Lowe's every 6 hours and quot;for another boxand quot; or yelling and quot;do you have the markerand quot; to your moving volunteers! Cliff and his family labelled my fragile stuff with large print, Fragile, and the movers did not break anything, or hit any walls. Win win. The movers pointed out a couple of things that had chips in it, to let me know the state of my furniture going into storage, which I already knew about, (furniture that was chipped years ago) which showed their honesty. I really appreciated this. My furniture has been guaranteed a climate controlled area for the next year, and I have high hopes that it will come out the same way it looked going in! Kudos to this hard working family business. I paid him in full, up front which was my fault. Adam came out one or two days to dig out and level the area the cement was going, starting the next day we got rain for a week straight, which I know is out of his control - no problem, what my issue with this was that he left shovels and tools and "junk" all around the yard for weeks until he was able to come back out! He ended up finishing other jobs before coming back leaving us on the back burner. When Adam and his crew finally did come out to finish the job maybe 3 weeks later the cement slab was not level, had a huge mound, was discolored and you could see the strokes used to try and level the cement. These were my minor issues.....Adam and his crew left feet print (more than one!) on the cement slab and had cement splatter all along the siding and foundation of the house! When I brought up my concerns to Adam, he admitted that he had one of the guys walk on the slab because a leaf had blown onto the cement and he didn't want it to leave an impression - mind you we have no trees in our backyard. Adam also used some left over bricks we had to construct a brick mailbox -when he got to the top he had to get a certain brick that did not have the usual holes, however it did not match the mailbox at all and sticks out like a sore thumb and looks tacky. He said he could not undo what was done with the cement slab but would be glad to make it right by giving us a brick fireplace in the backyard and would re-do the top of the mailbox to make it more appeasing. Adam did come back and tried to remove as much of the cement off the house and foundation as possible. After numerous attempts of trying to reach Adam and schedule him to come back out and do the fireplace and fix the mailbox -he still has not shown. $1500 later we do not have a mailbox we love and a cement slab thats not level and has feet impressions. Then their scheduling got mixed up, and I didn't serviced for 6 weeks (when I was supposed to get serviced approx every 4). After that the pests returned after about 2 weeks. This last time, mosquitos were back wihin a week, and stink bugs were there in 10 days. I have to say I haven't seen any ticks on the pups all summer, but the dogs are treated monthly too. I live in a highly wooded area, but my yard is cleared, and is about 3/4 of acres (I'm guessing). If the technician spends 20 minutes spraying the property, I'm surprised. Although I was told it is a high powered sprayer, it is still hard for me to believe it is adequate to spray a wooded area in that short of time. I doubt I will use them again, although they were very nice people.
The service rep arrived same day our A/C stopped running. He told us we needed a new unit, but got the old one running temporarily until we could get a new one. We appreciated this, since it is very hot at the beach in July. The installation crew arrived a day early. They were professional,...
This service went perfect. Everything's working now. I've got a remote control for my yard lights and everything is functional with no issues. Also, everything is fine now with the main breaker that he installed. Anyone who is looking for an honest electrician should give him a call.

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting, methods, and, yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work – a lot of work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort. This I promise you.

FAQs for pest control projects in Pine Knoll Shores, NC
Different pest control methods exist to help mitigate an infestation. Not every technique will work with every pest, which is why speaking with a pest control expert is crucial to taming your problem. Different methods of pest removal include:
The cost of pest control is $175 for the average homeowner. However, you could spend as little as $100 or as much as $500 or more, depending on the infestation size, the number of visits you need, and the pest you’re exterminating.
For example, if you need to rid your home of spiders, you’ll likely be spending between $100 and $300. However, if you have a termite problem, you can expect a bill of $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the infestation size and damage caused.
There are specific methods for pest removal that you can DIY without hiring an expert. If you are preventing pests from making an appearance or clearing out a small infestation of harmless insects, you will likely have success on your own. However, if you’re dealing with pests that eat wood, bedbugs, or other pests that carry a disease risk, like rodents, it’s always worth it to call a pest professional to help you.
Even if you’re not immediately showing signs of pests, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of routine pest control. This should be done yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, or monthly, depending on your location and if any signs of infestation are already present. For example, if you live by water, you might experience more pests in the spring and summer than someone who lives in a dry climate. Discuss treatment options with your pest professional to determine a suitable schedule for you and your home.
While not every infestation is preventable, there are some actions you can take to minimize the risk of running into these pests in your home. These actions include:
Keeping your home tidy. This includes vacuuming regularly, sanitizing your kitchen, storing food in airtight containers, disposing garbage regularly, and keeping your home clutter-free.
Deep clean at least twice a year. Deep cleaning neglected crevices and corners of your home can help prevent breeding grounds from forming.
Repairing your home when needed. If your home has cracks or holes, you have an open invitation for pests to come in. Remove any standing water and seal any gaps in your floors, walls, and foundation.
Cleaning up your yard. Keep shrubbery and branches well-trimmed and away from your home. Remove fallen leaves and other debris.
Be smart with storage. If you use firewood, store it away from the home (at least 20 feet away if possible) and off of the ground.
