"We had roof damage and our deck was destroyed during the hurricane. TG came in and fixed the roof plus tore out the old deck and replaced it...plus an addition to the deck and build a new roof for the deck. Wonderful work, very nice to work with and did not try to charge and outrageous amount. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great experience!"

"Clinton did a fantastic job on the chimney at my mountain home. It was a difficult job. The cost was reasonable, he showed up, sent pictures, and did an awesome job. I plan to hire him for my rental home."

"Mr. Bradsher was excellent. I was able to get an appointment to have my fireplace fixed within 48 hours of contacting him and it's the coldest part of the year! It snowed the day he was scheduled to come and he kept the appointment (although we had to push back the appt time because of road conditions). He was able to fix our fireplace quickly and we're so happy to be able to enjoy the warmth of the fire on these cold nights. We'll definitely use KD Bradsher Gas, Piping, and Appliances in the future and recommend him to our friends."

"Derrick was so professional and so knowledgeable about installing our wood stove into our coal fireplace. We had been given a quote from a competitor several months prior that was $2500.00 more. Also, I found out that the way they would have installed it would have created serious problems in the future. Great company!!!! Thanks for installing our wood stove. It is working great!!!! Derricks Chimney Service is the only company I will use in the future or recommend."

A typical repair of an igniter can range from $100 to $150. However, if you need to repair your mantel, expect the bill to be anywhere from $500 to $1,200. Wood fireplaces tend to cost more to repair due to specialized labor costs. Electric fireplaces tend to be the most cost-effective to repair, along with gas.

If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
The average cost to remove a fireplace is $7,000 but can range from $4,000 to $10,000. Labor costs account for the majority of this price, which can range between $500 and $2,000. In addition, permits to remove a fireplace are typically needed, and these can cost anywhere from $100 to $1,000, depending on your location and city requirements. If you’re removing your fireplace due to issues like asbestos or damage, you will likely need to pay to rectify these problems along with the fireplace removal cost.
