"Benn is always prompt and thorough. We honestly never have experienced anyone better. A year ago, we moved to Michigan and needed a trustworthy caretaker for the house and exterior. Having used Benn before, we entrusted everything to him while we tried to sell the house from afar. Benn was given keys to the house and studio. He not only managed everything but sent photos as well, reassuring us when were are 650 miles away. He was eyes and ears for any issues and most he could manage himself. When we needed him to meet with Real Estate Agents, he made himself available. When we needed him to return unused equipment to Spectrum, he did so. From painting to repair to building walkways to keeping the yard trimmed and free from weeds and bugs, Benn was there for us. I cannot give a higher recommendation."

"I hired them to paint the shutters on our house, and stain our second story open deck, second story screened in deck, and lattice work below the decks which surrounded a ground level concrete patio. While they were pressure washing the deck, they also pressure washed the roof above my screened in deck, removing mold and mildew from the shingles. In addition to those tasks, they fixed a hole in the sheet rock in the ceiling of my garage and replaced lines of bricks on the wall next to my driveway which had chipped and broken over the years. They were extremely careful and meticulous in their work, making sure nothing received paint or stain which should not and did excellent work on each of the tasks they undertook. If I have painting or just handyman work in the future which they are willing to do, I will certainly hire them again. I highly recommend them."

"Needed fencing installed to keep groundhogs from taking up residence under our deck. Brady came up with a creative and complete solution that made sure the varmints were out and would not return. Would use again."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

Professional power washing removes built-up dirt, mold, and mildew, which preserves exterior surfaces and improves curb appeal. Hiring a professional ensures the cleaning is done effectively and without damaging surfaces.

It depends on the type of surface, but if you’re preparing to pressure wash a driveway, you’ll start by using a broom or leaf blower to get rid of dirt, leaves, and other debris. Then, move any nearby items (like outdoor furniture and potted plants) and cover in-ground plants with a tarp or plastic sheet. After that, you can apply degreaser spray or another pretreatment solution to any stains and scrub them with a stiff brush before pressure washing.

We don’t recommend pressuring washing clapboard siding. At high levels of pressure, a pressure washer can damage wood siding permanently. Pressure washing can also make it easier to drive water into the cracks of clapboard (which are recommended for easier drainage), causing moisture damage.

If you think your clapboard siding is so dirty it could benefit from pressure washing, we suggest contacting a pressure wash cleaning service and getting a quote on a wood siding project. Some siding manufacturers recommend never pressure washing because it can force water behind the siding.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.
