What I really liked, is that he didn't recommend some fancy sod (which I had considered), and told me why this probably wouldn't work well. the quality of soil, the slope of the property, the time of year, etc). I asked him what he would do if it were his, and he said, kill the weeds, add good topsoil, seed it and water it regularly. Sounded good to me, and much less expensive than sod. Weeds were killed a couple weeks ago (took 2 applications), and top soil and seed were applied today. So, if I do my part and water every other day (as he recommended), I should have great grass started and up to me to keep it that way."
