"I cannot say enough good things about this company and its people.  I obtained other estimates. With Bradham I asked to specifically deal with Rodney Bradham based on Angie's List reviews. He returned my call promptly, made an appt. and arrived on time.  Dealing with Rodney was a joy. He is polite, courteous, knowledgeable. He has decades of experience and there wasn't any question that he couldn't answer. Plus, he educated me on things about which I knew nothing and didn't know enough to ask.  I just knew instantly that I was dealing with an honorable gentleman/businessman which is of utmost importance to me. He patiently went through three scenarios/proposals with me, in great detail. Bradham's cost proposals were very fair and competitive.  I made my selection; we set an installation date. Crew arrived right on time; Laythan and Rodney's son Pete, and Rusty, were exceptional in making everything happen. The crew worked patiently for two days in a cramped attic space and got it all done just right without doing any damage or making a mess. I can't remember all the other crew members names but it was a substantial crew and they were all wonderful in every way. The first morning after they were gone I got confused on how to use the thermostat; I placed a call for Rodney or Rusty; Rodney returned the call promptly and immediately sent a service tech to my house to set me straight.  Bradham's quality expertise and responsiveness is beyond reproach.

"We have an old furnace which is working very well and we did not need a repair but we usually have 1 or 2 tuneups every year. Every time we have a technician for tune up he tell us it would be a good idea to get a new furnace. The good part about LLC Heating & Air Condition was that they examine the furnace and thought it was in good shape and did not mention replacement . The visit was short and pleasant."

"Outstanding service. Bryan was the technician and he was very professional, on-time, an even though it was not an emergency situation (heat was working, just loudly), he called around to find the part and have it installed within a few hours. Was so impressed, I asked them to provide periodic service on my heat pump unit."

"The energy audit person left the company shortly after, so it took me several calls to figure out what had happened and to get the insulation installation scheduled. Once there, the 2 guys who actually put in the insulation were very professional and did a good job.

"Jim was very helpful and personable to work with.  I had recently moved to the Huntsville area and was unable to connect my wireless printer.   There were also some things going on with my laptop that made me suspect a virus had somehow gotten on to it, it was running more slowly than usual, and I wasn't happy with the Win7 configuration I had done when I bought the computer.  Jim came in and assessed the problems and we agreed on a time for him to take the laptop and reinstall the OS.  He was able to get the wireless connection to work as well.  He took the computer on a Friday evening and returned it Sunday evening in prime condition.
A few weeks later I  got an error message while reinstalling my accounting software so I called Jim.  He talked me through the problem over the phone and I was able to get the program installed so I could use the program.
Jim is great to work with, his pricing is very fair, he is prompt and reliable.  I will definitely use his services again.

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

While you’ll pay more upfront for a brand-new HVAC unit, you can save money in the long run. Here’s how to save on your new HVAC system:

  • When purchasing a high-efficiency system, your energy bills will be lower in the future.

  • You may be eligible for special offers from your local energy company.

  • Depending on the system, you may be eligible for HVAC rebates and tax credits.

  • Choose to replace your air conditioning unit and furnace simultaneously to save on labor and installation costs.

The absence of heating or hot water, unusual noises like banging or gurgling, and visible water leakage are key signs. Abnormal boiler pressure, flame irregularities (for gas boilers), or pilot light issues may also signal trouble. Frequent cycling, soot or staining, and unusual odors, particularly gas-like smells, should not be ignored. Modern boilers often display error codes or lockout mode upon detecting issues. Uneven heating across radiators and rising energy bills without increased usage can further point to problems. Prompt attention to these signs is essential to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

If you're often struggling with radiator issues like chilly spots, leaks, or annoying noises, those are common indications that your radiator may need to be replaced. Corrosion, uneven heating, and persistent hissing sounds are common issues as well. When repairs become a regular chore and your home’s energy bills start to rise, a new radiator will bring the comfort and savings you need.

All modern boilers are condensing boilers because they’re the most efficient type. Instead of extra heat leaving through the flue, these boilers trap the heat and use it to heat the house. Whether you choose a combi boiler, system boiler, or regular boiler, you can opt to get a condensing system. If you have an old boiler that’s not a condensing boiler, it’s a good idea to get an upgrade.

The main difference between an outdoor wood furnace versus an outdoor wood boiler is what each appliance is heating. An outdoor wood furnace burns wood to create heat, which warms the air and moves it through the ducts in your home. An outdoor wood boiler uses the heat from burning wood to warm water, which goes through pipes to radiators in the home.
