This time, the water damage was hardly visible, but behind the facade there was considerable damage all the way to the framing. The problem, caused by improper drainage, was identified by the contractor. He used the very best materials to fix it. Most important, he came back several times to make sure what he did was working as intended. The finished job looks beautiful and I know it will last for a long time. Rick Cox is the best!"

"So, we contacted three contractors from Angie's List. At of the three Matt came in with a price that was right in the middle of all three. We were very specific in the details that required Matt to deliver the wood painted in high gloss white and the three beams to be stained in walnut with a high gloss finish. He brought along "John" his helper who was also knowlegeable.  Now, to install the tounge and groove bead board, it had to run a certain way - length wise - so Matt installed the 2X4's first that would hold the walnut beams, and then there was allot of cutting to do for the bead boards.  Towards the end of the deck, their is an angle that required exact measurements and also allot of cutting of the boards.  The deck had a sheet rock ceiling so the boards had to be glued and nailed in place. Additionally, after the bead board was installed, crown molding was installed throughout the whole celing. It really looks great. Now, after the deck was finished, Matt installed picture molding under our chair rail in the kitchen. Then he installed some crown molding (7"1/2") in the entrance way to the garage.  It should be noted that after all the boards and molding was installed, he had to come back and cover all the nail holes and paint so we had a completed and finished look.
He is a great craftsman and he taught me allot about the skill set that he has. He has done allot of work also in the commercial area in various hotels, rest, etc that I went to see. He has a great personality, and is easy to work with. I also noticed that he estimated the right amount of material to use on the job with very limited waste.  He has a trailer that he brought to the site and everything that he needed was right on the job site. The trailer was so well orgainized, it was amzing.
I would definitely use him again for any job !!!! He could probably get a job in the TV program "This Old House" due to his knowlege and skill set. I also like his energy which was noted going up and down a ladder - 1000's of time a day !! He is normally booked out 6-8 weeks at a time, but worth the wait.

"Jeremy accommodated our request the next day even though he had other jobs that he had to rearrange. He showed up on time and was very professional throughout. He replaced the light ballast and a defective outdoor receptacle. He also checked out some other light fixtures and door bell that were giving us some problems and explained our options. He was very good at answering all our questions and even explained how we could take care of some of the problems ourselves. Not many contractors will do that!
He completed the work (and explanations) in only an hour and 15 minutes and said we could apply the remaining 45 minutes of labor to our next job with him. We will definitely take him up on that offer. We will use him for all our electrical work from on.

"Eldridge was the second contractor to give me an estimate. In contrast to the rather cursory inspection and vague estimate provided by the first contractor, Eldridge was very forth coming and engaged in the whole process.  Eldridge immediately focused on the problem areas we had with our previous paint job on the wood siding, which was peeling and warping in areas exposed to the sun. He throughly inspected the exterior and provided me with a detailed, itemized, reasonably priced estimate that offered more at a lower price than the first company.  He had a backlog of about 30 days, which he let me know about at the time of the estimate. The prep work, which included hand scraping off all the peeled paint and  then pressure washing the whole exterior, took several days. The actual painting, which consisted of a primer coating, plus to two coats of paint, was completed several days later. I was not in a hurry, so I did not ask for a detailed timeline - if a specific project schedule is desired, I would recommend firming this up with Eldridge at the time of the estimate. Once the project was done, Eldridge did a complete walk through with us to ensure the job was completed satisfactorily. Eldridge was a pleasure to work with and his crew were hardworking, courteous and careful in maintaining a clear work site..

He advised me about flooring quality, with pros and cons for my application. He offered to purchase the materials on my behalf so I could benefit from his contractors discount. He sent photos part way through the project to confirm my wishes regarding wood grain direction. He used his experience to address the threshold between this room and adjoining which was complicated due to floor level change."
