"I got quotes from three different contractors to do my master bathroom. While they were all relatively in the same ballpark, I just liked Tom better than the other two contractors. He seemed to listen to what I wanted and made suggestions and I just felt more comfortable with him. He tiled the floor and shower in the master bath, replaced vanity, installed a tub surround to match the vanity that I bought, installed lighting, painted, and installed two recessed medicine cabinets. Everything came out beautifully - very happy with it. In the guest bathroom he did tile floor, replaced the vanity, installed "paneling," painted, patched wall, put up a new mirror, and lighting. We were trying to spend as little as possible on our guest bathroom and in the end the cost for renovating this room actually came out under budget. I was happy with the outcome as well as the working relationship. Tom actually answered his phone most of times that I called and if he couldn't answer right away he called back that day. Although he started later than he said he would he called frequently with updates about when he thought they'd begin (prior job ran longer because client kept making changes). Communication and punctuality alone are reasons enough to hire Tom. I have never worked with a contractor who seems to think these things were important. It cut down on my stress level and frustration considerably. His crew was very professional and friendly and left everything clean and tidy each day. They were nice to my kids and dogs and I felt comfortable leaving them in my house alone. I would and have recommended them. So, I guess the only downside to Nicholas Tile & Bath is that they don't do kitchens :-("

"Outstanding workmanship and consideration of the internal home decor.  The installers arrived on-time and were completed in less than 2 hours.  I was most impressed that the installers were extremely considerate about not causing extraneous damage to floors and walls while bringing in/installing the granite counters and removing the old counters.  There were only a few wall nicks that were unavoidable.  The granite counters were cut and polished beautifully and now greatly enhance the appearance and future marketability of our home.  The quality of the granite counters far exceed the original materials provided by our builder.

"I believe that integrity is paramount when hiring someone to have professional work done in my home. I would recommend Gerald to anyone I know because his work ethic is impeccable. From start to finish he is professional, kind, and concerned about providing excellent customer service. He came to my mom’s house to perform an electrical service and instead of doing the bare minimum, he spent over two ours doing everything he could to resolve the problem. When it was determined that installing the fixture would be hazardous, he was apologetic and did not charge a fee for all the time he spent troubleshooting the problem. I had been speaking with Jim who was extremely responsive and professional.  I left a voicemail for him letting him know what I needed and he called me back within 15 minutes.  We set a day and time during the initial call for the install.  Saturday morning I received a call that they would be there by 8:00 and John came right at 8:00.  John, was extremely courteous and very professional.  John removed the old dishwasher and cleaned the area.  Once the new dishwasher was installed, John made sure to let it run for a while to make sure there were no leaks.  John removed all the foam and plastic that came with the new dishwasher and left my kitchen in the same shape it was when he got there.   John finished in about 2 hours and was on his way to his next job.  This was such a great experience I am definitely using Gentile Pluming in the near future for other pluming needs that are coming up.  Thank you so much Jim and John for such a great experience.

"We bit the bullet and installed an outdoor gas tankless water heater after our old one blew out a couple of weeks ago. The old water heater was under the house, halfway buried in dirt, and could not be removed without disassembling part of the crawlspace entry and disconnecting water pipes- it's a mess. A new tank heater could not go in the same place (against code and just all-around BAD SPOT!), so our options were to either place a tank heater in the utility room or go tankless. This was a big investment so I shopped around and talked to a few other companies before going with the Water Heater Experts. Their price beat everyone else's and their service was impeccable. Every person I interacted with there (Mike on the phone, Andy who gave the initial assessment and pricing, and Mike the plumber who did the work) were ALL professional, punctual, attentive, and straightforward. Andy gave us flat rates for the two options and both were lower than other places I had consulted with. They didn't push either way or try to talk us into the more expensive, "luxurious" option. There was no pressure on us at all. Mike installed the heater including new gas lines and new water pipes and did a fantastic job. He was professional in his work and just a cool guy in general. He took his time doing the work and had a real craftsman's touch. Everything works great and we are thrilled with our new water heater. He was able to do everything- gas line, electric work, and plumbing.
