Customers say: True professional

"Lance, Robert, and James were all super professional. It was a true pleasure to work with Rainwagon Irrigation to get our front yard set up with a new irrigation system. James and his team were punctual, courteous, and worked hard to complete the project in the timeline they gave us. I cannot say enough great things about this company and the gentlemen we worked with. We highly recommend them!"

"I could not be any happier with the fence clearing that Mario and his team took care of. They were precise on time and very respectful. I would definitely use them again for any other projects I have going with my lawn services."

"First, Pete’s design is great. It’s not a cookie-cutter plan. We have some challenging areas, needing more watering or more gentle spray, and the design met all those needs. Except for the area required to be open trenched for inspection by law, Pete’s method of laying the lines slices instead of trenches and so they were barely visible when done and gone in a few days. We really appreciate Pete’s knowledge of laws and rules and his diligence in following them. We wanted a system that met all ordinances and that’s what we got. Overall, Pete was extremely conscientious with a lot of care of our property, a project that was done right and he did a brilliant design. Plus, it’s beautiful when running."

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

While minimal, maintenance includes periodic brushing, debris removal, and potential infill replacement if excessive use causes compaction.

Post-dethatching, lawn recovery includes watering, fertilizing, and reseeding as necessary to restore health and promote growth.

No. Unfortunately, leaf removal is your responsibility, no matter what tree the leaves come from. It would be pretty hard to regulate leaves since they can be moved by the wind or water. Imagine the detective skills it would take to determine which tree each leaf came from and who was then liable for removing it. Instead, plan to remove any leaves on your property.

No, it’s not necessary to remove all the leaves from your lawn—in fact, leaving some behind can be beneficial. While it's important to clear thick layers of leaves that can smother your grass, leaving a light scattering of leaves can help feed your soil while also providing safe winter habitat for pollinators like bumble bees. Leftover leaves will eventually break down, enriching the soil and promoting healthy lawn growth.

Foxtail grass is not native to the United States, so it is considered an invasive plant. Giant foxtail originated in eastern Asia, Green foxtail is native to Europe, and Yellow foxtail is native to Eurasia. This grass variety is one of many common invasive plant species that you should keep out of your yard and garden beds as much as possible.
