"Dylan reached out within a day to setup time to review the work and work up a quote. The work was done a couple of days later. His team trimmed up a bunch of shrubs, weeded the beds and then put in new mulch. There was a little extra mulch leftover, so he put it around my mailbox and cleaned up around it, which was not part of the original request, but was greatly appreciated. "My only complaint is I would have liked if someone came out to check the state of the ditch beforehand for a more accurate quote. When the guy showed up I asked if he could stay on a certain path as to not mess up the grass with the excavator and he was very reassuring and respectful! He asked if I wanted a heads up if we needed more material I told him do what you gotta do and the new driveway came out amazing! Even though I spent more money than I expected the end result was worth it! Thank you!"

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

We recommend removing the stump, and grinding is a popular way to do it. You can also dig out small stumps or stumps that have fully decayed instead of grinding them. However, don’t try using acids or fire for killing a tree stump, which is a fire hazard and illegal in many areas.

Leaving the stump alone invites eventual problems, including attracting termites, mold, and fungi.
