When I had him do lighting work for me, he took the money and never completed the work. He disappeared for months, swore to send me a check for reimbursement for the work that was paid for and then disappeared. He never provided written quotes or receipts for work, and requested payment be made in cash. Avoid at all costs."

If you are unable to maintain temperatures that fall within this range, then you may want to consider installing a heater in your garage to prevent temperatures from dropping below 40 degrees.

The paint type your garage door needs depends on the door's material. Aluminum garage doors generally require exterior acrylic paint, while vinyl and wood doors usually call for exterior latex paint. Pros typically recommend latex and oil-based paint for steel doors. Acrylic latex paint is a great option if you need something that’s kid and pet-friendly as well as eco-friendly.
