"Excellent, Roy showed up early, prepared , and even went the extra mile to install both fans which included going into our attic in the heat, doing extra cutting to install the fan, and setting the fan in place. Definitely will work with him again."

"It went good. I was searching for a while for someone to do this work for me when I was referred to Mr.Hill. He came through and got the job done in a nice amount of time. He didn't do a rush job and was very professional the whole job. It started off as him just doing me a deck, then I hired him to come back and remodel my bathroom. I love his work ethic and the energy he brings to work. My bathroom itself looks amazing and as well as my deck."

"Estimator arrived promptly at time discussed and was very friendly. Gave us estimate to get several rooms in the house painted as well as a discount. We were asked to go and choose our colors; which we did. Painters arrived on time on the day the painting was discussed. We were told it would take 2 days to complete. The person I spoke with the first time was not present, so I had to explain to the painters what should be done. I shouldn't have to do that. Person in charge should know what needs to be done. Also, most of the painters didn't speak English so it was much harder to communicate. Most of the walls are painted perfectly, but it looks like the painters were a little rushed towards the end. I continue to find little paint splatters through out the house. I found some paint in both of the bathrooms. My only request is that the painters clean up more thoroughly once they have completed the services. I also ask that they look over the walls before closing up. I had to look at the walls myself and then explain in broken spanish that they needed to cover several more places. Other than that, they did a really good job. They were on time and worked quickly. I would definitely hire them again if the above issues are resolved.

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

WD-40 in its liquid or aerosol form is highly flammable. Using it around live electrical parts, such as a bath fan, can generate fire and a dangerous condition. However, if you follow proper safety procedures, including disconnecting the power to the fan before working on it, WD-40 can help remove some of the grime that builds up in your bath fan.

When maintained and repaired when necessary, your whole-house fan can last between 10 and 20 years. Check your warranty when purchasing the unit, as it will typically only cover between 5 and 15 years. Its longevity will also depend on your local climate and how much you use the fan. Having a professional size your fan appropriately for your home size will also help ensure it doesn’t get overworked, which can limit its lifespan.

Yes, ceiling fans come with a few other features that help with function, style, and convenience. Multi-speed fans can give you specialized control over the airflow. Consider getting one with an integrated light to save ceiling space. Some ceiling fans come with a remote control that enables you to change direction without climbing a ladder. Of course, you can also consider installing a wall switch to enjoy that convenience.

Whole-house fans cost significantly less to run than a window AC unit. You'll pay an average of $0.01 and $0.05 per hour to run a whole-house fan compared to $0.06 to $0.88 per hour for the cost to run a window AC, depending on its size and the size of your home. They also use far less electricity than traditional central AC units.

You can easily clean an electric fan by wiping it with a damp cloth, all-purpose cleaner, or mild detergent. Ensure the fan is not plugged in or turned on while you’re cleaning it. Also, try to keep liquids out of the motor, which can lead to damage.
