Look for greener, lusher grass, as drain fields promote plant growth due to moisture and fertilizer. Depending on location, sellers are often legally required to disclose a home’s defects to buyers, even if the home is being sold as-is. Certain types of defects, such as asbestos, mold, previous water damage, structural issues, and other safety risks, may be required to be disclosed, so check local laws to see what needs to be disclosed and what doesn’t.
