"13 years ago Deckscapes built us a 14x18 foot screened porch which we have enjoyed immensely over the years and have received so many compliments on. They did a magnificent job but after 13 years it was ready to be freshened up. Although they were not the least expensive, we went with Deckscapes based on how pleased we were with the initial build. We had them put in new screens, new screen caps, a new screen door and fresh paint on everything. They did an incredible job and we could not be happier. The porch looks brand new and every member of the Deckscapes team did an outstanding job. What amazed me and my wife was that all of the team members were the same people who originally built our porch 13 years ago. What a tribute to Mick and his team to stay together for this long! Mick, Mike, Rebecca, Tony, Hecter, Jesus and all their helpers were the best in every aspect. If you are looking for a deck or screened porch go with Deckscapes. There is no one better!!! Period..... "They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

"We found Julian and were ultimately very pleased with the outcome. Julian, and the entire team at J.Mozeley interiors, was very professional throughout the entire experience. She kept in constant communication, was thorough in every detail, and considerate of our ideas and (mostly my) wants and wish list. She was timely in meeting projected deadlines, as were the other contractors she recommended we work with. Jules was always reassuring and she took our ideas and conceptualized them perfectly. She is a very tasteful designer and made us feel very comfortable, even as she brought in other workers to complete projects. Her work family is very professional and we thought they did an awesome job. I LOVED the 3D model of the space she uses to show her design ideas and suggestions, I felt like I was in an HGTV show! And, we would have stayed on budget, had I not splurged on some extra decor. It wasn’t too much over though, so my husband was happy (ha)!"

"They never returned our call. Our neighbors have had work done & heard that Outdoor Artisans no longer work in SC. Not sure if this is true but we were disappointed because we did like the work done at 2 of our neighbor's houses. Rated a B rating because they appear to do good work ?"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Professionals ensure safe, thorough repairs using quality materials, extending the life of your structure.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.
