Please think twice if you?re thinking about using Newland Landscaping for any of your projects. They will seem great while completing the project and the finished product will look beautiful, but if you have any issues later and try to contact them, they will not respond. If Nate tells you that there is any kind of warranty do not believe him. It?s a big lie! You will get completely ignored left to find someone else to fix. Highly disappointed with this business.

Nate and his team are fabulous to work with. Everything went exceptionally smoothly. We made some small adjustments during the project without any issues. I got three different estimates- these guys were the highest and that absolutely matched the quality of work that was done. Canâ t say enough positive about these guys. Nate was on site every day w his crew, they were all hard workers, very polite. I also know if I were ever to have an issue down the road that they would be back to address it without any issues. I had some trees and bushes removed, cement walk and patio removed, fixed drainage issues, they took some of the clay soil out to lay the base for the new walkway, patio and we also did pet premium artificial turf. My yard is now not just usable but enjoyable. I honestly couldnâ t be any happier!!

Nate and his crew did a great job installing a large set of landscape stairs for us. The project was done quickly, no damage to the yard, and it turned out looking great...!

This is a follow up to a June 2020 review after the replace and install job was complete. Within a month following, the completion, many of our trees and plants started to die. I notified Nate numerous times about the issues and there was no response. I sent him pictures of the dying or dead plants and trees by this time, still no response. He finally came over sometime early spring and said he would replace the affected plants/trees in a few weeks. It is now July 7, 2021, and he refuses to answer our emails, texts, and private messages. I will add that at one point, he messaged he would be here sometime the following week. He never showed up nor have we heard from him since. Not only are we extremely disappointed in this expensive venture, but after putting our trust in him and his word, we find it difficult to understand why he would do this. We hope he is raising his young child to know the importance of being trustworthy and honest. We also wonder how he would feel if his own grandparents were the recipients of this kind of deceptive treatment. Buyer beware and shame on you, Nate. Ken and Elizabeth S.

Nate and team were hired to repair a severely eroded shoreline under a fixed dock. The removed a couple large shrubs and installed 30 tons of riprap filling in the erosion and regrading. Final result turned out amazing, clean and most importantly, the erosion was stopped. Will be hiring Nate and team again next spring/summer to complete a larger back yard project.

Nate added rock to our shoreline, installed stone steps into the lake, and installed a stone walkway leading to our dock. Excellent work! A pleasure to work with! We recommend him highly.

Nate Newland is one of a kind. I was lucky enough to stumble across his business while on social media one day and loved the work he did. He came out and quoted a very fair estimate (breaking down individual parts on the estimate which I found very helpful in figuring out what parts we would opt for and which we would tackle later eg: privacy tress section, pool landscaping section, drainage section, sod section). He was very patient while I revised several things that I wanted in the backyard, redoing the estimate over four times. He was informative about when to expect him and his crew out and he himself was here during the whole installation, leaving only for supplies. The most impressive thing We had an area In our backyard that was incredibly sloped and he worked for over three hours on a skid steer to make it a very gradual decline something 3 other previous graders did a TERRIBLE job with. Super impressed. The quality of his workmanship and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. Additionally, wherever he sources his trees from seems to be top notch. The trees and bushes that were delivered were in excellent condition and much larger and fuller than I anticipated. He keeps a small crew so he can give personal attention to each project. He even Took the time to personally address and fix a stair that was accidentally chipped/broken by our pool installation company- something he did out of the kindness of his heart and so he could leave the back yard looking perfect. We are so happy we hired Nate to dig a drain for water/drainage management, install drystack borders around existing beds, remove over 10 trees that I had previously planted- moving them to different locations in our yard, plant over 20 screening trees and bushes, create large beds surrounding our fence, lay 10 pallets of sod and over 200 bundles of pine straw, and create a beautiful border around our new pool utilizing river rock and various shrubs/bushes. Hire him and his crew. You won t be disappointed.
