However, after completing the work, he was not happy with it and explained that the old (1950s) floor had too much moisture, causing some areas to not absorb the finish as well. He refinished the floor a second time with a larger finisher (3 different levels of sandpaper!) at no additional cost. We are happy with the work. I think it tells a lot about someone on a project that doesn’t go as planned. Following up and making it right is very important. We would definitely hire Jason again."

Depending on the method you choose to remove grass, it may or may not matter whether the grass is wet or dry when you perform the task. For a really low-maintenance driveway option, you can use pebbles or other small stones between the pavers instead of grass. They’ll still allow rainwater to seep into the ground.

Watering grass is a good idea when there is a drought and when temperatures are high. However, you don’t want to water in the middle of the day or if the temperature exceeds 95 degrees Fahrenheit. 

The extreme heat will cause the water to evaporate faster than the soil can absorb it. So, it’s best to water in the early morning or early evening when the temperature cools off.
