Our Southern Solar install just went online, and it felt so great to produce the first kWh's of our own power! The entire experience with Southern Solar was just amazing â from the very first contact, all the way to the end. I actually was in touch with several solar companies to make sure we get the best offer and product for our home, and Southern Solar was hands down the best company in every single respect. They were very fast, and very responsive. Making a decision like this, it is always very important for me to get the best and trustworthy information. The guys from Southern Solar stood out, especially our sales agent, Matt Burrier. He was able to answer every single one of my questions in full detail and was available during the entire process to coordinate the individual steps. Very knowledgeable, absolutely no B.S. â that was just what I needed to be fully confident. And then, Southern Solar also won in terms of the price they were able to offer, and the install even completed weeks ahead of schedule! Turnaround time with all communications was super fast, and every single person who was involved in the process (sales person, design team, roofers, electricians, etc.) was very professional and delivered high-quality work. The installation looks beautiful (see pictures). The way the cables are run from the roof down looks better than any other solar install in my neighborhood. It was a total "turnkey" solution, I didn't have to do anything; they took care of getting all the permits, etc. I can fully recommend Southern Solar to anyone without any reservations whatsoever, and I wish them all the best in their mission to make VA go solar!

Outstanding customer support. Day or night, holiday or not, Matt Burrier answered all of my text messages and calls right away. He was with me every step of the way throughout the process and even helped me set up my SREC account. The other companies never even mentioned SREC to me. Highly recommend them to anyone.

I started my solar journey back in April of 23. Southern Solar approached me in May. I was thrilled with their professional and down-to-earth attitude. Their honesty and willingness to work with me is what led me to make them my #1 choice for solar. From the loan to the installation, they answered all of my questions in a timely manner and were very polite even when things didn’t work out in our favor. A competing company offered me a “better” deal, and after a lengthy and very educational sit down, I still chose to go with Southern Solar. They still look out for me as a customer and have my back on any issue that has or will arise. I rate this company as a 9/10, and I scrutinize companies thoroughly.
