"13 years ago Deckscapes built us a 14x18 foot screened porch which we have enjoyed immensely over the years and have received so many compliments on. They did a magnificent job but after 13 years it was ready to be freshened up. Although they were not the least expensive, we went with Deckscapes based on how pleased we were with the initial build. We had them put in new screens, new screen caps, a new screen door and fresh paint on everything. They did an incredible job and we could not be happier. The porch looks brand new and every member of the Deckscapes team did an outstanding job. What amazed me and my wife was that all of the team members were the same people who originally built our porch 13 years ago. What a tribute to Mick and his team to stay together for this long! Mick, Mike, Rebecca, Tony, Hecter, Jesus and all their helpers were the best in every aspect. If you are looking for a deck or screened porch go with Deckscapes. There is no one better!!! Period..... Small jobs welcome

"They were professional, they did a great job, their customer service is outstanding, and we will use them again. We used them to secure the fascia on all sides/roof line on the outside of our house, which had become lose over time, and was in jeopardy of being torn off in the next wind storm."

"Able helped repair/replace the rails and some floorboards on my back porch. He was very fair in the pricing and explained what he was going to do before starting the project. I would use him again for future home repairs."

"They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

FAQs for gazebo service projects in Concord, NC

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.

It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.

The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.

Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.

A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.

Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.

The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
