I contacted "Shamrock Chimney" and scheduled an appointment with their lead technician "Tony". He suggested a less costly and safer alternative (steel liner and a resealing of the outer brickwork. The work was performed over a two-day period. I am fully satisfied with the results. One thing I really apricate is the communication during the project. The "front office" would let me know by either phone or email when the project would start, and then Tony and would give me updates. All and all the whole process went smoothly. "The work went extremely well.  As the job progressed he offered suggestions on how to make the overall job better,  Mike suggested a change in the stairway railing construction which turned out amazing.  He also suggested the crows nest deck railing system be changed to a custom made wood painted system because of the uniqueness of the location.  We decided to add painting all the house trim and fascia after the work started.  Mike seamlessly took on this addon.  Based on the emailed pictures the house looks outstanding.  He takes pride in his workmanship.  Mike is also diligent on project cost control.  He got competitive bids on the "Tamrail" deck railing system and achieved significant cost savings.  Overall the project is on time and under budget.   We have subsequently asked Mike to do a couple more smaller maintenance and upgrade projects.  Mike says he doesn't necessarily do the job the easy way, but rather he does it the right way.   We highly recommend Mike...he was a pleasure to work with.
