Best air conditioning pros near Clyde, NC

"Anthony was great. Professional, punctual, and responsive to questions. The job involves removing an old electronic interface module at the furnace, which is why it wasn’t something I could do myself. It also involved running a new thermostat wire, which he recommended a separate electrician perform (coordinated and contracted by All About Heating and Air), rather than having him do it. Doing it this way saved me several hundred dollars - which I definitely appreciate! I’ll be calling on them again if I need any other HVAC or plumbing services."

"Excellent service. Tech called when he was enroute. Upon arrival he explained what he was going to do & that if he found any issues/problems he would talk to me before doing anything. He did the servicing thoroughly in about an hour. He made one recommendation for a change to the air return but wasn't pushy about it. He said it was just an idea to make changing the filter easier. He also brought up another recommended system change/addition and we discussed future service options. Overall it was very good service. I would use them again."

"I highly recommend Comfort Central. Owner Kevin Schumann and his co-workers, Jay and Thomas, did an outstanding job installing the new HVAC system at our house. Over a four-day period, they set up in our crawl space a furnace/AC unit, a new plenum box, pipes for venting, and a dehumidifier with its own elaborate duct and water-removal system that will help keep our huge crawl space dry. They also put in a new heat pump in the backyard and a thermostat in the house. I was so impressed by the people and the work they did. Kevin and Jay are remarkably knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to HVAC issues. Thomas did a very good job with the aspects of the project that he handled. Every installation presents its own challenges, and one of the best things about Kevin and Jay is their ability to improvise as the project moves along. They considered different options when deciding on the size of the new system, where vents should go, how the duct system should be repaired and improved, the placement and venting of the dehumidifier, and many other things. They always kept the code requirements in mind. They were on time, friendly, communicative, and always considerate about how their work affected us while we were in the house. Kevin, Jay, and Thomas were also terrific when it came to answering my many questions. Kevin’s wife Laurie, who manages the office, responded quickly to my e-mails and helped with scheduling. HVAC projects can be expensive and complicated, and we wanted the right company to handle ours. We learned about Comfort Central from our home health specialist who had worked with Kevin in the past and had received very positive comments about his team from customers. I can recommend Kevin and the Comfort Central crew without reservation."

"Clay with Air Doctor came out the same day (Monday) we put in the request on Angies List. He came with his girlfriend and a student. Clay teaches Heat and Air at Haywood Community College. He examined the HVAC system, determined it's motor had burned out and ordered the part. He has kept me informed about the status of the part letting me know he was still committed to completing the job. Today is Thursday and we have a working system in our home. I am very satisfied with the work that has been done. Highly recommend Air Doctor."

"It was very much needed. Never had my air ducts cleaned before, a bit pricey but well worth it!"

"Had a great experience with Cool Cat . The technician was professional, on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue. They explained everything clearly and got the unit running like new again. Pricing was fair and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable HVAC service!"

"Wade and his crew arrived on time and were professional, very knowledgeable and courteous. They worked carefully and were respectful of our home and furnishings. He kept us informed as the cleaning proceeded. They did a great job on a pretty challenging project, since the ductwork had probably not been cleaned in decades. We are completely satisfied with their work. Since we have another renovation project planned and we want to keep the system clean, we plan to contact them again after the completion of this next project."

"One of my AC units was not working correctly so as always I went to Angi to find someone qualified to do the work. CALL DAD HVAC called me right away and said they could come out that afternoon but due to my schedule had to wait until the next morning. Daniel arrived here promptly and worked all day until all the work was completed to my satisfaction and approval. I was so pleased with the work I decided to sign up for a year's contract with them which was very reasonably priced. If someone needs any HVAC services/repairs I highly recommend CALL DAD!"
