Small jobs welcome

"I had a great experience with this home inspection service. They arrived right on time and conducted a very thorough inspection of the entire house. The inspectors were professional, respectful, and clearly knowledgeable. After the inspection, I received a detailed report with clear explanations and helpful recommendations, which made everything easy to understand. They were also very clean and careful while working in the home, which I really appreciated. Overall, the team was friendly, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a reliable home inspection."

"Ben was very responsive, even at odd hours and always took my calls to answer any questions I had. He did a very thorough inspection at a great price and helped me find a pest inspector as well. I would highly recommend him. He took extra care in areas I was concerned about and made recommendations on what repairs could be critical."

"Larry came out for the initial inspection and explained everything clearly with pictures. All technicians were very professional. Olen and TJ did the lion share of the work and kept me informed on their progress and the condition of my crawlspace. I have a 3100 square foot house and about a 1600 square foot crawlspace. HVAC unit was leaking water under house for a while, which made it very wet under there. Insulation was falling down and saturated. All the insulation was removed, crawlspace is now clean, dry, and mold is gone. Encapsulation and Dehumidifier should keep it that way for years to come. Olen and TJ deserve a raise."

"I contacted the company and they were easy to schedule with, they provided a competitive quote. They charged a fee to come out and do an inspection but they provided me with a written / emailed estimate along with pictures from under the home and a written report of the crawlspace inspection."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

It’s a good idea to conduct a DIY attic inspection at least once a year to look for signs of water damage, pest infestation, and damage to the underside of the roof decking. If you suspect any problems, call in a professional to confirm and come up with a solution. You should also hire a pro to inspect an attic before purchasing a home, and you can have an inspection done as a seller to entice buyers to move forward with an offer or purchase.

A mobile home inspection thoroughly assesses a manufactured or mobile home's structural and functional aspects. A certified inspector examines the home's condition, including its foundation, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, insulation, flooring, and overall structural integrity. The goal is to identify any potential issues, safety hazards, or necessary repairs. The inspector provides a detailed report summarizing the findings, highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the home, and often includes an estimate for the remaining life span of appliances, systems, and components.

Stucco should be inspected yearly or every few years, depending on where you live. Stucco homes in wet or humid climates are at higher risk for damage and should be inspected once per year. Homes in drier climates can wait longer between inspections, and get one every three years or so.

Professionals use brushes, vacuums, and diagnostic tools to ensure thorough cleaning and safety.

Repiping your home creates a large mess, and you won’t have access to water while your contractors are working. To prepare, contractors will cover the floor and furniture with drop clothes. In some cases, they may move furniture to protect it and get it out of the way. They’ll then cut holes in your walls, floors, and ceiling to expose the existing pipes.

They’ll also turn off your water, but they’ll leave at least one bathroom and the kitchen functioning at the end of the day. You’ll need to plan accordingly.
