"They did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets. I thought my carpets were unsalvageable, but Stanley came in and saved them. They looked amazing, and my whole house smelled so good. I will definitely be using them again."

"They came in on time and went to work. They cleaned all of the flex duct and vacuumed them out. Then they cleaned the unit and the main supply as well as sanitized the supply system. They went inside and vacuumed the return duct and sanitized it. The fan was turned on to circulate the chemical throught the entire system. They were professional and cleaned up any mess. I am very pleased with what was done."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The formula for neutralizing skunk smell is one quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda, and one to two teaspoons of dish soap. The University of Nebraska says a chemist discovered that this mixture changes the thiols, the chemical compound that causes the odor, into acids that don’t carry a skunk smell, thus eliminating the odor.

Our guide can also work for old tomato stains. If you’re trying to get rid of a lingering spot from spaghetti dinners past, you can skip step one and jump directly to step two.

Pro tip: Allow soaking time for older stains. We recommend waiting at least 10 minutes between applying your cleaning solution and blotting it up.

Vacuum regularly, clean spills promptly, and rotate rugs to prevent uneven wear.

There are many benefits to hiring a professional floor cleaner. First, these flooring pros know the right chemicals for your flooring type, which is essential for its longevity. Likewise, they have the proper deep-cleaning equipment, which is often more complex than a mop or broom. Not only that, but deep cleaning your floors can be a time-consuming process, and by hiring a professional, you can spend that time on other home improvement projects.

Even cats that are well-trained at using the litter box can end up urinating on various household objects or floors at some point. Cats may pee outside of the litter box for many different reasons, from their surroundings to their health.

If any of these issues sound familiar, addressing them can help you prevent any future accidents. When in doubt, talk to your vet, especially if peeing outside the litter box is coupled with any other abnormal behavior.

  • Stress: A soiled litter box or untidy surroundings, strange guests stopping by, or loud noises may stress out a kitty, leading them to pee outside of their box.

  • Health: Cats with health issues like UTIs, bladder stones, diabetes, or kidney disease may pee around the house.

  • Marking: Cats may mark around the house to either claim their territory when other animals come around or to attract a mate.

  • Preferences: Your cat may simply prefer a larger litter box, or maybe they don’t like the new litter you bought on sale at the store.
