The team listened to our concerns and provided an extensive long-term vision for rectifying them and making them an area we’d enjoy moving forward. Based on our immediate needs, we decided to take a phased approach by adding a timber retention wall, a stone wall with lighting, and privacy trees. They also tapped into our existing drainage solution and made it more efficient. I view this as providing us with a canvas for future projects. We are very pleased with their work and will be a repeat customer for future phases of their initial plan. "In October of 2024 Shane came out to give me a quote for yard clean up. After several calls by me, I finally got a start date. Shane called me and said they could start a day early and I was fine with that but they showed up at 5:30pm. I was told they would start at noon. The next day (actual start date) they showed up at 7:30pm and were there for a half hour and left because getting dark. I was told they would be there the next day at 9am. At 10:30am I called Shane asking where the crew was. He actually argued with me telling me they were there. So apparently I was blind. They showed up after 11am and they finished while I was out. Only half the job was done. I emailed all photos of areas not done with pic of contract for those areas quoted. In no way did Shane reach out to see if everything was done. I had to hire another company to finish what they did not do. When I got the bill, I reached out to Shane and said we need to revisit this bill because not everything done. He offered a $150 discount (via Sara's email) which was laughable and said "if ok we will send a new invoice". I sent an email back saying $150 is not acceptable and got no response. No response for 5 months! I got an email 5 months later saying my bill was delinquent but they cut the bill in half. I never received new invoice that showed bill was cut in half till 5 months after my last contact with them. They are not trustworthy and play games. If I could give a zero, I would."

"We have hired Birch & Boulder for two jobs. One was a drainage system and another was a large rock bed and retaining wall. The owner Bryan did a great job listening to what we had thought about and added some great insight and ideas to our original plans. The results of both jobs were excellent. The workers and Bryan all went the extra mile to make sure that the yard was in as good a shape as possible when they were done. Good value, honest quotes, punctual, good communication both in person and by phone and email, finished on time, just an all around good experience. They also installed the EV Charger for me, mounting it to the wall and connecting the charging cable. I was able to register it with ChargePoint worked perfectly. I would hire them again"

"Joshua, the owner of Down East Pools hired our company to deliver the rock for a residential pools. Aug 2021 (2 separate properties) In one instance we paid for the rock on OUR ACCOUNT. Its October and we are still waiting for the full amount owed. We're trying to recover from COVID and he's taking advantage of us! I went to the residence where the rock was delivered and the property owner said he fired Joshua also. He lied so much! NOT PROFESSIONAL! Do not use him, he doesn't pay his bills."
