"Todd did a great job installing our dishwasher that had to be hard-wired into the house. He was responsive, timely and a great communicator."

"Excellent work. Amazing results. We discussed our needs and the design was so much more than we expected! Our project was delayed due to weather, but were kept informed almost daily. The crew was here when scheduled and we were kept informed of the process. Very hard-working crew and we are so pleased with with our new, huge and great designed driveway! Highly recommend this company!"

"I'd called many lawn maintenance folks, and they either did not answer the phone, did not return the call, returned the call but did not come, gave estimate for work but never showed up - I was really frustrated. I called Guy and he answered the phone and we made arrangements for him to come provide an estimate. He called the day he was scheduled to come to verify appt time, and he showed up on time. I thought the estimate a little high - certainly higher than I'd hoped, but I was desperate. He said he'd call early the next week to schedule the actual work. He did not. On Tuesday I called the number I had, and Rick answered, and clearly had forgotten all about me. However, after that was sorted out, he said he'd check with Guy but he thought they could come on Friday. He called back Wed morning to confirm Friday, and Friday morning called to say they'd be here by 10:00 am, and they were. They did the job quickly and to my satisfaction. I feel if I cannot keep up with the mowing myself, I'd be willing to hire them to mow regularly. However, since I want to mow with a reel mower, and they use one of those big riders, I doubt this will happen. It depends on whether they are willing to mow my small grass area with my mower."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, it is possible to make a fountain without a pump, though it may seem less intuitive and will require a bit more effort to use. In lieu of an electric pump, there are a few options including hand-cranked pumps or sprinkler systems that can work to provide water for a fountain.

Smaller, pondless water features like bird baths, self-contained fountains, and bubbling rocks are much lower maintenance than their counterparts that include ponds. Pondless features help you avoid high pond maintenance costs and allow you to spend more time enjoying the water feature and less time on upkeep.

How many fish can call your pond home depends on the volume of the pond and the fish size. Your pond's filtration system also influences the number of fish that will thrive in a pond. A general rule of thumb is to have 1 inch of fish for every square foot in a pond that's 2 feet deep. Another rule of thumb you can follow is to have one koi fish for every 200 gallons of water or two goldfish for every 200 gallons.

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.
