"Wanted to keep up with the new consumer trend of doorbell cameras. Got one for our front door and motion sensors for our main rooms inside. No extra fees or anything weird like that. Straightforward and honest process with this ADT dealer partner."

"We own a small family operated jewelry store and decided to get ADT for protection and surveillance. Prior, we just had Ring and it was not sufficient or reliable. This has clearer cameras and a much better app experience. Happy with our new system and equipment."

"The fixtures look beautiful. The installers cleaned up the workspace and took the boxes from the fixtures with them. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional from the initial phone call to the two installers. I used an Angie's List coupon which helped with the price. Would definitely hire this company again.

"Scott and Doug were prompt, professional, personable and outstanding in getting the job done. The fans had to be assembled during installation and some of the fixtures were from China so a good electrician was required. They respected my home and I paid the amount quoted. They are focused and do not waste time; they wiped their finger prints off my chrome fixtures!! I will be hiring them again in the next few weeks."

"Amazing system! Did a lot of research on alarm systems....so glad I went with 1st security! They came to my house and explained everything to me, were not pushy at all. Came and installed the system a few days later....took the time to explain everything to me and did an amazing job with the installation. And the price is excellent, both the installation fee and the month to month. So happy with my decision."

"my wife and I bought our home in December of 2012 knowing that the a/c and furnace would be the first major replacement we needed due to the fact that the current unit was already 12+ years old.  Sure enough the next year after being told by 2 companies that a new unit was needed due to the age of the unit and the cost of fixing the current unit, we decided to get both a new a/c and furnace.  We gathered quotes from several companies around the area including apline.  David met me at my home and was very upfront and knowledgeable about what we needed in our home, without trying to oversell me.  We chose alpine to install our new system because we felt more comfortable with them rather than the other companies that we had met with.  The instalation crew showed up on the scheduled date on time and ready to go.  The instalation process went smooth and they did a good job of letting us know exactly what was going on.  Prior to the instalation ken the service manager came to our home to do a pre instalation inspection and told us the stair access to our attic had to come out for the instal due to the size of the new furnace.  The instal techs took the stairs out without any damage and instaled the new furnace.  After the new system had been instaled i set up a time to put the stairs back up.  The stairs were put back as scheduled and look just like it did before they were taken out.  The new system is running great and David the owner has contacted me several times to follow up and insure that the new sytem is running properly and that we are happy.  we are very happy with our new system and our experience with Alpine and will definalty be using them in the future for our HVAC needs

Ring Installers questions, answered by experts

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.

Smooth galvanized metal ducting is best and safest for venting a hood range. It’s best to avoid flexible and corrugated types of ducting, as these options don’t provide ample airflow and may not meet local code. For specific advice on which type of duct might be best for your kitchen, reach out to a range hood installation professional.

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.
