They offered to come out and give a quote and to complete the task immediately following if the quote was acceptable. We received a better rate than anticipated and the work was done perfectly. All three fans were different and required differences with installation. To operate with remotes and one is connected to double switches on the wall. The mounts are perfect and the fans operate wonderfully. DJ Whiter was the electrician who helped us. He was friendly, professional very neat in the work areas and communicated well to make sure that each installation was exactly what we desired. "After 3 weeks of living with no air conditioning, and a leaky ceiling, during which time I had 5 technicians (3 from one company that doesn't even have an option to leave a voicemail after 5pm!) attempt (and fail) to fix the problem, I finally had to get a new system. 



I sincerely hope you don't need to replace your AC system any time soon, but just in case you do, I highly recommend  Alpine Heating and Air.  Their telephone number is: 919-404-1717.  They went above and beyond customer service, and addressed my concerns, explained answers to my questions in detail re: energy efficiency, payment, warranty, etc., and did exactly what they said they would do re: installing on time.  I have a 10 year warranty for parts and labor and a lifetime warranty for the compressor.  If it breaks (the outside unit), they will replace the entire thing.



A week after my system was installed, the unimaginable happened, and my ceiling was leaking again!!!   I couldn't believe it!!!  I called them - this was on a Sunday evening at around 8:00pm - and they told me that they would send someone over right away, and they did.  I told them that this was unacceptable, and that I expected them to replace it w/a new system.  They assured me that they would do that if necessary. Fortunately, the issue wasn't the system, but the pipe in front of it, which the technician replaced.  I was still in shock that my brand new system had leaked, and I asked him to open the panel in front of the system to ensure that everything was OK.  He went back out to his truck and got his tools and it was fine.



The next morning, Alpine called me and apologized for what happened, and offered to have my ceiling fixed.  I was very surprised, and I told them that I wanted to give full disclosure, and that although it had leaked because of the pipe, I told them that I had previous damage from my other AC, but they said it was OK and that they wanted to make things right, so they sent someone to repair it (no charge to me). "

"After having my regular electrician give a quote for fixing an electric line and installing a ceiling light in an interior stairwell about 10 feet above the stairs, I decided to try Volt Doctors, one of two electricians listed on Home Adviser. â Luke,â the electrician, came an hour before his scheduled arrival to do the work on a Saturday afternoon. He actually called me to let me know he would be a little early that day. He did the job for the price that he had quoted me when we made the appointment that was $400 below the price my regular electrician had given me. I am in my 80â s, and could have done the electrical work except I am not safe on a ladder above stairs. "They came out and did some roofing for us, as well as some ceiling repair. They also did some painting. They cut out out section on our ceiling and they replaced it. They then painted the ceiling and added the stippling ceiling touches. The job looked good when they finished and we were very pleased with the work."

They wired 2 disconnect boxes, reworked our existing circuit breakers to handle the extra power load, added 2 lights/fans, 2 outlets, rewired/moved 1 light switch, covered 2 outlets w/2 blank plates all for $930. They were late due to an accident, but got the work done as scheduled. I will use them again when we finish our attic.
