29 Excellent job and friendly workers. Two were climbers with chainsaws, one on the ground to help move debris. After trimming, the loaded big logs into dump truck, chipped the smaller, blew off the fine shavings from driveway. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.
Bob came out to see if our gas fireplace could be converted back to a wood burning one. He said it could be done easily so we hired him to do it on the spot. He inspected the chimney as well, capped the gas line, and also gave his advice on what we'd need if we ever wanted to install a wood...

On the negative side he's apt to be confrontational, and very quick to blame everyone else – homeowner and other contractors alike – for mistakes of his own making. And there's the matter of cost. The last of several jobs done at this location was supposed to be on the basis of time and materials, in which case I would have expected to see a breakdown of hours and materials cost. Not so, according the bill he just presented, and which I duly paid. Where's the analysis of cost, I asked? There isn't one, that's my price, period, and if you don't pay it, see you in small claims court (how reassuring is that?). Deducting for materials (my guesstimate), he billed me at something in the region of $125 per hour. A bit steep, if you check the going rate in NC. My advice – get a firm price."
