Travis did an excellent job sealing off a square opening in fireplace that was originally for power and cable outlets. Replaced stacked stone facade to blend seamlessly with surrounding stone. He and his crew were professional, friendly, on time and efficient. Repair was priced very fairly.

When we bought our house, our neighbor (who's lived on the same street for 70 years) said he couldn't recall a time our fireplace had ever been used for a wood fire, and indeed the entire chimney was falling apart above the roofline. So we knew it would be a big expense to get it up-and-running. We didn't want to go with the wrong company. Every friend we asked came back with the same recommendation: Reece's is simply the best in town. We got a quote, saved up, and then called them to schedule the work this May. They hit on all cylinders: flawless work, excellent customer service, punctual, didn't leave any mess, and came in beautifully under-budget. It was also immediately clear to me that Travis and his team were genuinely good people. Of course, anyone can put on an appearance in a conversation with a customer, but how they interacted with each other throughout the two days they worked on our chimney made it abundantly clear that they truly respected one another and knew how to work together like a well-oiled machine. That's when good work gets done; that's when quality is consistent. I don't often write reviews, but I know how much it meant to me and my wife to have the right people on a job like this, and I hope other folks will make the same solid choice.

Late March 2020, our dogs informed us something was in one of chimney flues, we have three. Usually chimney swifts nested there in the summer. This time it was different - a young raccoon, probably looking for swift eggs. After extracting the raccoon, it became evident that we need flue caps to prevent critters from entering the flue. Researched chimney specialists. Called Travis regarding the critter problem. He scheduled and appointment for next afternoon. A crew of two came at the appointed time, looked over the situation, and determined that the three flues were spaced too close together to accommodate an individual flue cap for each flue. A single overall chimney cover was needed. The crew improvised temporary coverings and took measurements for a large cover which would need to be custom manufactured. Next day Travis sent an estimate for custom cap. With estimate approval the cap was ordered from a supplier. It took about five weeks for the custom cap to come in. The installation was scheduled for a Friday. Then Thursday Travis called with an opening that afternoon. The crew arrived Thursday afternoon, and quickly removed the temporary coverings and installed the custom cap. The price of the installation was the estimated price. And that final price included the work for the temporary coverings. No payment was required until the final installation of the custom cap, which was nice. Now the flues are raccoon safe. Kind of miss the chimney swifts though. Bottom line: The crew came when scheduled. They called prior to arriving to verify the appointment. The final cost matched the estimate. The Reece's crew inspected the flues and provided good information about their condition and various options available.

Excellent! We had a large interior rock chimney removed and Reece's installed the insert we had as a freestanding stove. Even though we bought the pipe ourselves they were awesome! Will always call them first!

Their knowledge, skill and professionalism was 'top shelf' and further enhanced by what I consider to be a very fair price in today's world. We've used them before, will use them again, and for as long as they're in business we'll call no one else.

My chimney needed some pretty substantial work; the blocks at the top were separating and the cap was completely broken. Dealing with Reece's Klean Sweep was a breath of fresh air. Travis was super responsive and easy to work with, he took the time to explain everything to me in detail, and answered any and all questions. They arrived at about 9:00am, worked very fast, and got my chimney looking great by mid afternoon. They even left the surplus materials with me in case it needed any minor patching in the future. Grade A, awesome experience, don't go with anyone else.

Overall excellent service. The tech called and asked if he come come early since his last job had been competed much quicker than expected. He gave the fireplace a thorough inspection and cleaning and found that it was not configured properly - no sand beneath the logs. He added sand and re-positioned the gravel and rock wool. I asked about the condition of the logs and he said the entire system was in good shape (for it's age) and that the logs should last for a number of years. I will definitely call them for next year's annual service or if problems arise.

I received a call the day before my appointment to reconfirm the time. The guys arrived on schedule and then quickly cleaned my stove and flue. No mess in the house!

I thought it all might need to be cleaned, but they said it did not need cleaning at this time. Very professional and honest. Recommended a minor repair be done in the future, and assured me it was not urgent because everything was safe. I will definitely be calling again when I am ready to upgrade the old wood stove.

Guys were great, on time and very professional. They went above and beyond in sealing some flashing that needed work and helped us understand other issues we should be thinking about regarding the roofing overall all. We'd hire them again!

Warren fixed it at the price charged. The manufacturers made it very difficult and time consuming to access the pilot unit but Warren did not charge extra. They came out the day I called as my inlays were visiting and it was going to be one of the coldest evenings of the season. He explained what the problem was and why he was replacing the module. The pilot is still working fine months later.
