"I can not say how pleases I was with his work and his desire to work with me. He or his help were always here when they said they would. The room has 6 windows and a glass door, siding on the out side. This room was put to the test and not a drop of water I. The room and all siding remained on the room. Dave is a great guy and hope to remodel a bathroom with him in the future."

"My house looks beautiful. The product is very nice. Cost was a bit higher but they replaced wood that was rotted with no additional cost. They replaced a storage floor and did a great job. It did take twice as long as quoted...some weather issues, small crew."

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

My name is Sandra Parada, and I wanted to introduce Coastal Build Concrete & Siding. The company is run by my father and husband, both of whom have many years of hands-on experience in concrete and siding work.\n\nIf you ever need reliable subcontractors for services like driveways, patios, foundations, slabs, or siding (vinyl or fiber cement), I’d really appreciate the opportunity to connect and be considered for future projects. You can put us to the test we’d love the chance to show our quality.

Customers say: Quick response

"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

Siding questions, answered by experts

Many modern homes have soffits, but older ones don’t, and you may be wondering why. Older homes have eaves that extend further beyond the home and help to circulate air, negating the need for a soffit. This style of building has faded away, therefore, modern homes need separate soffit installation. Modern soffits are more efficient than this older style and require less material to construct, saving homeowners money.

The best type of paint for vinyl siding is a high-quality acrylic latex paint, often labeled as '100% acrylic.' This type of paint is lightweight and adheres well to the vinyl surface, which reduces the likelihood of it peeling or flaking. For best results, apply two coats and avoid using thick paint. The color choice is also important; select a light color to prevent the paint from absorbing excess heat, which helps extend the durability of your paint job.

Yes, vertical and horizontal siding both come in the same materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and engineered wood. The material you choose can significantly affect your siding’s overall price, lifespan, insulation properties, and maintenance costs.

Vinyl is lightweight, easy to install, durable, and long-lasting, and as long as a professional installs it, it should remain waterproof for several decades to keep your home protected. It can hold out against extreme weather conditions, and it doesn’t make a nice home for any sort of insects. Plus, vinyl is affordable and comes in a variety of looks and colors. When it comes to board and batten siding, vinyl is one of the most affordable material options.

Bleach can be an option if you want to kill mold and mildew clinging to your siding. However, you must water bleach down to the right concentration of a 1/2 cup of bleach per gallon of water to avoid damaging your siding. Bleach can also harm plants in your yard and isn’t safe to use near pets, so employ it with caution.

Local pressure washing services often offer non-bleach options that can powerfully remove mold and mildew.
