Unfortunately, sooner or later, there's a clogged drain in your home or business. Help is just a phone call away. Rob & Sons is a family business with over 20 years experience cleaning out sewer lines and drains. There isn't anything we haven't seen! We offer prompt, professional service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Personal checks and cash are always welcome! There's no hidden fees- no trip charges or machine fees. We fix what the others miss!

"First off, I had used these guys a number of times and referred people to them. My quote is on their website, for goodness sakes. But that all just changed. I had a leak in my kitchen, and they misdiagnosed it. This misdiagnosis cost me a new dishwasher. I called back asking them to come out and take another look. Was told they'd be out the next day. Never showed or called. After three days, I texted them and never heard back. No integrity what so ever."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Propane tanks are professionally installed by assessing the site for safety, placing it correctly, connecting it securely, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Almost all new buildings in California need an earthquake shut-off valve. The requirements for an earthquake gas shut-off valve (and who can install it) depend on where you live. For example, according to the Los Angeles Municipal Code, you’re required to hire a licensed contractor to install one whenever you build, sell, or renovate a home. Check with your local building department for your city’s laws on installing, permitting, and inspecting earthquake shut-off valves.

The cost of repairing a gas leak depends on the type of leak, its severity, and how difficult it is for the repair technician to reach it. Some of the most common gas line repair costs, on average, include:

  • Cap a gas line: $75–$150

  • Gas system inspection: $150

  • Pressure test: $75–$500

  • Damaged or corroded pipe: $6–$7 per linear foot

  • Repair gas leak: $120–$5,000

Plumbers start by walking around the property to see if they notice any signs or sounds of a gas leak. They can also use tools like electronic gas detectors and infrared cameras to find the source of leaks. There are also detectors that use laser, thermal, and multi-wavelength imaging. All these devices allow a plumber to scan your home and pinpoint the exact location of a leak.
