"I was introduced to Sacry through a third party. But I have now found an electrician for life! They showed up with little notice, analyzed the scope of what to be done, and made some recommendations. These recommendations were not so they could charge more, but rather so the job could be completed safely, and look professional. Sacry Electric went out of there way to make sure I was satisfied. I wish more companies had the same values as Sacry, putting the customers wants, needs, AND budget as their only priorities! Thanks again Sacry! I will be calling again soon!"
"Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable! I hired Josh to do handyman work on four different Airbnb condos & he communicated well and was thorough. Highly recommended because of his range of skills (electrical), clear estimates & sticking to deadlines/completing jobs."

"This company is obviously nationwide and hires local contractors. I trusted Agies List that all contractors are licensed, bonded and have background checks. This person was a handyman and not qualified to wall mount, conceal wires, add electrical outlet. He spend five hours in my home, for a job that should have taken two hours and left the area in a disaster. The TV was hung close to the ceiling, the wires were hanging down from the TV, and the receiver was sitting on top of a plaster box because the cord was too short. He was obviously not qualified to install TV wall mounts. I have photos. As soon as he left, I called Best Buy Geek Squad. They were able to come out the next day and mount the TV professionally. I have used the geek squad in Virginia and they are highly qualified. They charge more than this nationwide company but you get what you pay for. I called Angies List the day after the disaster and said i did not want to rate this company but I wanted to talk to a manager. No one called me to apologize. I have cancelled my membership. Do not use this company unless you can be assured that the local contractor is qualified and is licensed. You should never let anyone into your home that has not had background checks. "

New homeowners in Butte should start with a comprehensive electrical inspection to assess home wiring and panel safety. Installing GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements, and updating smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are essential. Consider surge protection, adding outlets for modern devices, and upgrading basement wiring within your first year to ensure electrical safety and reliability.
Helpful?
Homeowners in Butte are prioritizing whole-house generators for winter reliability, smart thermostats for energy efficiency, and LED lighting for durability in harsh weather. Electrical panel upgrades, EV charging stations, and heated driveway systems are also trending. Many are adding USB outlets and smart home wiring, making electrical projects more efficient and tailored to Montana’s challenging climate.
Helpful?
In Butte, burning smells, warm or discolored outlets, and frequent breaker trips—especially when heating systems run—can signal bigger electrical problems. Dimming lights when appliances start, scorch marks near outlets, or visible rodent damage to wiring are also red flags. If your basement is damp, be extra cautious, as moisture can quickly turn minor electrical issues into major repairs.
Helpful?
In Butte, it’s time to schedule electrical projects if your home has outdated wiring, such as knob-and-tube or aluminum, or if you notice frequent breaker trips during cold winters. Watch for flickering lights during storms, missing GFCI outlets in kitchens or bathrooms, and too few outlets for today’s electronics. These signs suggest your home wiring and electrical safety need attention.
Helpful?
In Butte, you can safely reset GFCI outlets, replace light bulbs, and reset tripped breakers, but never ignore repeated trips or persistent issues. Regularly test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, keep electrical panels accessible and free from snow, and use surge protection during local storms. For anything beyond these basic electrical safety checks, it’s best to contact a qualified professional.
