Small jobs welcome

"Darren completed the work within two days after giving us an estimate and reviewing the materials to be used. He was professional and finished the job in the timeframe anticipated. The porch deck fits beautifully into the design of the house. We are really pleased with the results."

"We are thrilled with our recent experience from Creekside Custome Construction ! From day one, they were open, honest, and easy to talk to. If any small issue came up, they communicated clearly so we aware of everything. They even worked late into the evening multiple times just to get the job done right and on schedule. It is rare to find a contractor who works this hard and treats your home with such respect. Five stars!""

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling in Billings balances function and appearance by first ensuring proper drainage for snowmelt and resistance to freeze-thaw cycles. Professionals address the area's expansive clay soils for stability. Aesthetically, they use injection methods that leave only small holes and offer color-matched patching materials. The final layout ensures proper slope for water runoff and clear access for snow removal equipment, integrating function with the existing landscape.

Helpful?

When leveling concrete in Billings, your input is key for several decisions. You will help choose between polyurethane foam injection and traditional mudjacking, based on your budget and the project's scope. You'll also need to confirm the location of underground utilities and sprinkler lines, decide on aesthetic options like patch colors, and determine which areas to prioritize if working within a specific budget.

Helpful?

For concrete leveling in MT, high-density polyurethane foam is preferred for most residential projects due to its durability in the state's extreme temperature swings and resistance to freeze-thaw cycles. Traditional mudjacking, a cement-based slurry, remains a cost-effective option for larger slabs. Supporting materials include flexible polyurethane sealants for cracks and color-matched compounds for patching holes left by the injection process.

Helpful?

In Billings, concrete leveling needs evolve as a home ages. Minor settling occurs in the first decade, followed by moderate issues in years 10-20 as expansive clay soils shift. By years 20-30, active management with periodic leveling becomes necessary, and many homeowners adopt polyurethane injection methods. After 30 years, decisions may shift toward replacement if leveling is no longer cost-effective for the aging concrete.

Helpful?

In Billings, MT, professionals prioritize concrete leveling work based on safety, severity, and weather. Trip hazards and drainage issues that could worsen during freeze-thaw cycles are addressed first. Slabs with significant sinking of two or more inches also get immediate attention to prevent further damage. Projects are scheduled to fit within the short construction season, ensuring the most critical repairs are completed before winter arrives.
