"Mark showed up on time to inspect work to be done and provided estimate. Mike and Brandon did a thorough duct cleaning job. Global performed complete duct cleaning from 9AM to 6PM with 1 hour lunch on 04/16/2018. I am extremely satisfied with the job and Global returned to complete the job by bringing additional tools to cleanup the dryer duct. To make the most out of your AC, consider implementing the following best practices: 

  • Choose the right size AC for your home to ensure your unit runs as efficiently as possible.

Whether an HVAC damper should be open or closed depends on the season, the zone it controls, and the temperature in that zone. In the summer, open upstairs dampers and close lower-level dampers to get the most efficient cooling possible. In the winter, do the opposite. Cool air will naturally flow down to lower levels, while warm air will rise. This keeps your system from working harder and helps prevent common AC problems.
