"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "He started working right after the contract was signed.  I was not expecting the work to start so soon but he started on the prep work. First he started in the hallway stripping the wallpaper and prepping the area to be painted. Next he applied blue tape to the areas to be painted in the dining room . He then helped to move small items from the Dining Room.  He covered the remaining furniture with plastic.  The next day  he scraped the popcorn from the ceiling mudded and applied the first coats of paint.  He would switch between working on the ceiling, to painting the hall, and painting the back stairway. By the end of the day the work on small hall and back stairway was complete.  The next day he finished painting the Dining Room ceiling.  He then started and finished painting the wood work and walls in the Dining Room.  He started and finished the door last.

"Chris did a fantastic job!  I love my new kitchen cabinets!  I had late 80s or early 90s "pink pickled wood" cabinets.  Chris sanded, primed and professionally painted my cabinets.  He does the base cabinets and drawers on site.  He removes the cabinet doors, and takes them to his shop to spray off site.  He delivered the doors back to me the following week, as promised.  
Also, I have a Kitchen Aid refrigerator with the wooden panel insets.  Chris painted the doors to match my kitchen cabinets, for far less than buying new inserts from Kitchen Aid.
He always was punctual, friendly and a true professional.  He would always call or text and let me know when he'd be back, etc.
I would definitely have Chris back again, and probably will.
