Small jobs welcome

"Mr.TJ quickly called back midafternoon, let my husband explain our dishwasher issue, and was at the house within the 30 minute interval he gave us. Cordial and professional, he set straight to work. He solved the problem and even listened to my husband’s jokes! He is our go-to for appliance repair and referral for other professionals. I cannot express my appreciation for his service."

"My experience with them was top notch from beginning to end. He answered my initial inquiries promptly and after I hired him to fix my washer, the service was top notch. He arrived on time, and fixed my washer in less than 30 minutes. I also noted that he and his apprentice came in with professional shirts on with his business logo on it. I will definitely hire him again for any appliance repair needs and I HIGHLY recommend him."

"This young family man is building his business one job at a time. Mr. Tanner responded to my request for refrigerator repair when others did not respond to messages, told us we were outside of their service area or would only schedule us many days into the future during M-F daylight working hours. Mr. Tanner worked us into his schedule of appointments the same day of our need. He inspected/diagnosed the problem, left to retrieve parts needed with a promise to return the same evening after completing other scheduled appointments and complete the job. He kept us informed on his progress and returned as promised the same evening, completing the repair and servicing our refrigerator. Our refrigerator is now performing better than it was before it needed repair thanks to Mr. Tanner. We will call Mr. Tanner first for any of our future appliance repair needs."

Appliance Repair questions, answered by experts

If you don’t want to use dishwasher pods, you can use liquid or powder dishwasher detergent or dishwasher tablets. Alternatively, you can make a DIY dish detergent by putting two or three drops of liquid dishwashing soap in the dispenser and filling the rest with baking soda. You should never use laundry detergent, household all-purpose cleaners, or a full dispenser of liquid dish detergent.

Cabinetry is typically the most expensive component of a kitchen remodel, often accounting for 30% to 40% of the total budget. The cost for new or modified cabinets can range from $2,000 to $28,000, depending on the kitchen's size, materials, and whether they are custom-designed. To save money, you can refinish or reface existing cabinets if they are in good condition. The next largest expenses are typically new appliances, which can cost $500 or more per item, followed by countertops and flooring.

Yes. Every toaster is bound to accumulate a build-up of crumbs and food particles. If left unattended, these can turn into a fire hazard.

A decade plus of normal wear and tear combined with heavy cookware usage are the most common reasons glass stove tops break. The glass can also break from sudden temperature changes, including dramatic shifts in the local climate. Manufacturer defects and poor quality control are rarer causes of cracks, but they do occur.

The magnetron, which generates the microwave energy to heat food, is one of the most common components to fail. When the magnetron fails, the microwave can no longer heat food. Other frequently failing parts include the door switch, which prevents the microwave from operating if the door is not securely closed, the light bulb, and control panel buttons that may stop responding. Repairing a broken magnetron usually costs between $100 and $200, or $175 on average. About half of that cost is for labor and the other half is for the new part, though costs may be higher for high-end models.
