Special trades full service masonry contractor anything of masonry including ins. And historic restoration. Chimney repairs mailboxes landscapeing blocks and retainer walls new or existing comerrcial or residential. I've only had one unsatisfied customer or complaint w/ BBB n 8 years judgement was 4 me. I am a sole proprieter I do all the work my self I have o employees when I need help i use temp labor this allows me to b more competitive and I m always on the job 27 years exp. 8 yrs n buis.icensed n insured

"Took 3 MONTHS to do a job he bid for 2-3 weeks. Had millions of excuses why he didn't show up when he said he would & had a very volatile temper when things didn't go his way, When I had to go out of town he told me he would be there every day working....my neighbor said he never once showed up. When he did he would only be here 2-4 hours and whine and ***** about things I couldn't control, like the heat. He was whiny, disruptive with his dogs, brought a convicted felon on the property to help him who would collect his money and go, leaving him to work alone. He would disappear for days, then come back and work like crazy. I wanted to fire him so many times but knew I'd never get anyone to finish my wall, so I spent a miserable summer putting up with him. Many times he was a nice as he could be and then he would just go off and I never knew what would set him off. End result? I have a very nice wall. He built 2 gates that fell apart after 6 weeks and when I texted him he told me he would not repair/replace or refund me because of how little he made on the job (I paid what he bid). Then he threatened to post a non-existent video of a non-existent event he says occurred when we went to the local hardware store. Unbelievable! I didn't give him a 1 star rating because he is a terrific mason, but unfortunately my experience was that his attitude and issues over-ride his skills."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
