LCS KLEEN-AIRE

I was reluctant to get my ducts cleaned (and my units serviced) because I had seen "exposes" of some services like Kleen-Aire that did a poor job. But from the moment the 3 Kleen-Aire arrived with their two trucks and much equipment, I felt sure I was dealing with top professionals. They did the job in exactly the time they said, and they did a magnificent job. This was a very old house that had never had its ducts cleaned, and they removed a massive amount of dust, dirt and debris from them, and also did an expert job dissembling and reassembling the units. The air blowing from the ducts is noticeably MUCH cleaner, and it no longer causes me to cough or sneeze! I highly recommend Kleen-Aire to everyone, and if you have considered having this service performed at your home or work, I strongly encourage you to do so, especially if you live or work in a very old building as I do!

The work performed was great. Communication left a bit to be desired, i had to chase them to get any information. Asked for estimate on some additional repairs and got the strong impression (my opinion only) they they were pricing themselves out of consideration. I ended up getting a competing quote for 1/3 the cost LCS quoted.

I had 2 other companies work on the chimney and both times it continued to leak. With all the rain the last month it hasn't leaked one time!

they did a very thorough job. I could not believe the stuff they pulled out of my duct work and dryer vent. LCS was wonderful.

The service techs were very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. Chad was able to point out issues with my furnace and provide solutions. When we ran into complications due to my home's 30 year old duct work, Tyler quickly made arrangements to make sure we could get the system up and running again quickly so we wouldn't be without heat. Everything works well and smells amazing after having everything thoroughly cleaned and the air filter sprayed with the lemon fresh spray. They installed a modern filter grill to make filter changes much easier in the future. My husband had attempted to clean our chimney without luck. We assumed it would take several chemical treatments to get the creosote build up off, but LCS had it clean in one short session. I will definitely be calling them each fall to clean our chimney for the season and when we are due for air duct cleaning again.

I recommend LCS Kleen-Aire as a reliable, locally owned company that offers excellent customer care and quality work. When I called to schedule the cleaning, the office lady explained the process to me and scheduled the appointment for inspecting and job quote. The owner was polite and very thorough, asking questions about the house and my expectations. He explained he could replace the old intake grate (1963) with a new one that would hold a modern air filter, and went over the costs involved before putting it in the work order. On the dates scheduled, the technician arrived on time and was very courteous. The chimney was inspected and the tech reported it was in good shape and cleaning was not really necessary, but he would proceed with cleaning if that was what I wanted. The technician was respectful of my home, and he cleaned the work area before he left. The HVAC cleaning was a nearly day-long process, and the company was responsive to my questions about pet safety and access needs. The tech went through the home with me and reviewed the why and what cleaning was being done. The work was done and any clutter or cleaning was completed before the tech left. Payment over the phone was simple and the office asked if there were any questions or concerns before payment was processed. I appreciated the genuine concern and personal attention I received every time I had contact with this company.

My experience was fabulous! LCS gave me a bid that was a bit more expensive than some of the others I received, but I chose to go with them because of the care with which their estimator examined my house and bid the job. One of the other companies I called didn't even come to the house to look at things - just gave me a guess over the phone. Tyler (the LCS estimator) came and looked at everything, explaining in advance the peculiarities of what would be involved - and the process that LCS uses. My service technician was Kent, and he was magnificent! He was careful in my home, and careful with me. He explained each aspect thoroughly and showed me what he was doing with each step. He discovered a few unexpected things (a loose duct in the basement, and some other minor issues) and fixed everything up without additional charges. He took care of floor vents that hadn't been cleaned well in probably 50 years and made them spic and span. I was absolutely pleased with the service I received from LCS - from start to finish! I recommend them highly!

The cleaning was very thorough and well explained in the process. He mentioned he had not brought the correct filters with him to fit our house. He said he would bring them to us in a couple of days. We were very pleased with the results. I notice better breathing after waking up each morning. My wife is expecting less dusting as well! I used this company because they were a certified cleaner.

Justin arrived as scheduled at 9:00. The process took until 5PM. It was amazing how much sheet rock dust and dirt he vacuumed from the system. The process was very impressive. I wish we had the system cleaned before we moved into the new house.

It went wonderfully. The tech was on time. Worked very hard. Knew exactly what he was doing. He was very courteous. He did a great job. I can say enough good things about this company they go out of their way to accommodate the customer. Tammy is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this company. We just moved into this house and for the first time we feel good and can breathe better. Plus there isn't any dust floating around in the air. My husband was having health problems caused by the dust. Tammy went out of her way to get to us as soon as possible. Thank you LCS for caring.

While this company is very professional and courteous I must say I'm a little disappointed in the quality and attention to detail. I have no doubt they cleaned my air ducts well and removed the build up although this is something I can't see for myself. What I can see is that my intake vents and registers were not cleaned well and I had to vacuum after the technician left because of debris left around each of my 12 registers and at the entryways of my house. Maybe I'm too picky, but when I am paying someone over $100 dollars an hour to do a job my expectation are pretty high. I spent the day after sweeping and dusting my house and cleaning the registers again myself. Also, if you have pets be sure to secure them. I know it is not the technicians job to look after my pet, but I would appreciate a warning before my sliding glass door is fully open for 7 hours straight. I found my 8 week old kitten inside the tubing used to suck the dirt out of my ducts and the tech had no idea. It could have been a disaster.

We were originally scheduled for July 30 due to the work volume. However, they had a cancellation and I had indicated I would take one if it would open up. The two man crew showed up on time and were very conscientious in terms of keeping the house clean as they did their work. They were very polite and courteous and walked me through all the things they were doing. It took them most of the day and they cleaned up after themselves so you hardly knew they were here. I will use them again.

I've lived in the same house with the same gas fireplace for 4 years.  Each year I have someone come out and inspect the fireplace to make sure everything is in working order and I'm not going to blow the house up.  This year I picked LCS.
I asked to have a fireplace cleaning/inspection done and since this is pretty routine there isn't a lot to say but I did want to point out a couple of things.
Pros:  Cleaning was the most thorough of anyone I've used.  Cleaned all the logs, left the shop vac running and stuck in the fireplace while he climbed on the roof and knocked all the soot and gunk down, wiped down the glass doors, and tile in front of the fireplace.
Cons: This was the most I've had to pay to have the yearly cleaning/inspection done.  It's usually around the $75 mark.  I might have missed it but the inspection piece wasn't as thorough as others have been.  Usually they spend 10-15 minutes inspecting the gas lines and using their meters to check everything out (sorry for the lack technical terms but I don't remember what they told me they are doing).
Overall though did a good job and was very friendly and efficient.

Thorough, friendly, and I know it was a job well done. This company went above and beyond to find a place to schedule me (they book far in advance due to demand) before my baby was born. The house's ducts and furnace hadn't been cleaned in a long time and they knew it was important to us. Worth the price tag and I'd definitely use their service again!
